Guys before you go and say "Just filter it or boil it" think about this.
If you had nothing but a bucket to get the water and bring it back home, which some people walk miles to do, how are you going to clean it?
Boiling it and filtering out the sand isnt going to do much but leave you a pot full of dirty cloudy disgusting water. Most who have to drink this, use their pot or pan to cook their food, not boil water.
Would you want to cook your food in a pot you just put muddy water in?
