Doug Groover was my best friend. I was there when this song was record (in his bedroom) while in high school. It became a big hit in England and Europe. Doug was ahead of his time for sure. Rodney Eubanks is the singer and is still singing today. We all went to high school together. Boy! Hearing this takes me back!!!

I think Rodney was around 19 or 20 at the time. We were all from Dickinson, Texas. I know Rodney has done more music but I fell out of touch with him a long time ago. I hear about him through his cousin who is close to me. I think Rodney has been mostly writing country songs and did some work with the Christian group "Philips, Craig and Dean".
