@Mekoblank17 watch code geass or eureka 7 if your looking for epic endings but gurren lagaan is just a masterpiece from start to finish if you want a truly sick anime, im talking foaming at your mouth its so good! this anime was awesome but only comes around the 7th in my faves plus is much better w/o cheesy english voices

I'm just so happy that the story ended happily. so many stories end sadly. sigh, so the pirates have reformed and rescue, rather than steal.

not to mention, that was a heck of a dub.

and it is over. I guess it is hard to make a sequel to a happy ending story. but it was nice. sniffle ...
