Somehow, someway, someone must appeal to the common decency of mankind and stop the killing. Shock and Awe is not the answer all that does is scare people, like we were scared after 9/11.

I had hoped you would win in 2000, now I am disappointed with your views. It seems to me our only policy in Iraq is to be there. We cannot support an Iraqi democracy, when that democracy asks us to leave and we insist on staying. You say there will be chaos when we leave, but there is chaos now. A change in policy is necessary whether we stay or leave, but there is no new policy, which means the killing and chaos will continue. The situation in Iraq is a regional political problem.
