Agreed. I don't think this is 1:4 either. I'm building a true 1:4 Atlas Van Lines (the 1979 "Blue Blaster" hull), and it measures out at 7-feet, 1.5-inches. All this aside, these guys built one a hell of a nice boat. BTW, mine will turn the "right" way (to the left), like a real hydro does.
I would LOVE to see some pics of your build! Please let me know if you post anything on it, that is going to be a WICKED hydro! And you are correct, although this boat isn't 1/4 scale, it is VERY nice!
Will do. Just working out some fine points with the power plant and drive system right now. Plans are printed and wood is ready to be templated and cut. Once actual build commences, I'll post photos. Thanks for the encouragement!
