no its act 1. I just did this play, and i played mary warren, i should know. the only scene mary warren is in in act two is the court scene. this is obviously not the court scene.

@Melissatonxx depending on the version you have this is either act II or act I scene II. our version had this as act I scene II

Elizbeth needs more expression. John's atitude is great but Elizbeth needed more. She was good in the middle.

Not nearly hysteric enough. Mary Warren is a very vulnerable and easilt manipulated character. At this point in the show, she honestly believes that these things are happening to her. When the court tells her she is an "official of the court" she feels important, and gets upon a high horse. She is very dramatic at this part because she is trying to impress upon Proctor the "importance" of her "weighty work" This is the most exciting thing that's ever happened to her- and this is how she reacts.
