I was in the fifth grade when this song came out. Man, what great memories. Songs were so excellent back then. The artists wanted to please, to paint a picture, to make everyone feel good about life. And they were brilliant.
I don't like the attitude, the impertinence, and self-absorption of music artists today. Most of all, today's songs are very disappointing. They miss the mark. There's nothing there but crassness, dissonance and vulgarity. Our ears and hearts don't lie.

Toni sure made that haircut popular girls would just go into the hair salon and say give me a Toni Tennile and they knew what to do. I knew allot of girls that looked like her back then! I love that look so classic 70's
