  • Hey Bob, you going 2 Halloweekends this year?????? Would really love to see the decorations and stuff they have this year. :o}

  • @Crissbaby2008 I was there this past weekend and shot a lot of video. I hope to have something posted later this week!

  • @CoasterBob62 Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!! I'll be looking forward to watching it. :o}

  • bob,

    Very cool sharing these videos. I worked Live E during the Halloweekends and was in the skits: The Tale of the Headless Horseman (at the petting farm), Swamp Scare (also at the petting farm), and then did a show about Selling customized caskets (I can't remember what it was called). Do you by any chance have any of those shows to share? I'd love to see those!

  • @cfetter79 Sorry to say that I don't have anything resembling those shows. I focused more on the rides and displays. Wish I could help you!

  • Thank you!!! Brings back so many memories!

    I remember the the guy at :36, the one with the head smooshed in the window, by the end of everyday he was punched in. Ha!

  • wow it looked way creepier back then. i think they toned it down a little bit now for the little kids.

  • what was the WIldcats color scheme in this video?

  • 2:30 were those the old guys from the pirate ride? I think they were!

  • You are correct sir! I always make sure to find the Pirate Ride characters and film them.

  • THAT was another GOOOD ride... Not nearly as great as PT, but a darn good ride.

  • Man, that's creepy. But effective ... 5/5 stars!

  • I think Chaos was located roughly in the area that Top Thrill Dragster is now. Im not sure but I think thats where it was.

  • Yes.

  • kinda looks like CP was a little less "family friendly" back then haha

    I couldn't tell, but where exactly was Chaos located?

  • It definitely wasn't for little kids! Some people were outraged at the Ghoul Bus of all things. I love this kind of stuff -- it's Halloween!

  • Earliest I remember was '03-'04, I worked there, I worked Wildcat and Gemini (hence my name lol), personally, I liked the old color scheme for Wildcat. Only thing tho is I don't remember CP being that scary, I do remember some stuff, esp. the Dead Rock Cafe, it was my fav haha, but I don't remember like the people hanging from the tower next to Coasters....hm, oh well! Did u work there Bob?

  • I worked there from 1978-1984, seven fun seasons! There were no HalloWeekends way back then, just "bonus weekends." I wanted to work a ride but ended up at Silver Dollar Cafe.
