It is an STi. You can tell by the large spoiler when he looks back at him for a split second. Again, same guy, same thing I said in the other post...his guy doesn't know how to drive. It would be a little closer if he would just launch it properly. In the end the srt 8 would still win because of the horse power difference though
@sdray7569 if that is truly a stock SRT-8 and, that STi actually has the mods the posts say it does, the STi is about 40-50whp short of the SRT-8 which weighs about 1400lbs more. You do the math, the STi isn't being driven properly AT ALL.
The STI driver needs to launch properly instead of trying to clutch dump at random rpm's. Still, the SRT8 would have smoked it. Those Jeeps can go 13 flat on a 1/4 mile.

For almost $60,000 I would EXPECT this jeep and any car to be able to beat an sti (stock) and yes that's a wrx not sti. A well equip sti would not loose to a srt-8 and you would still have $30,000 left in your pocket.

mmm 2 of my favorite vehicles go at it. i once owned an STI but i have been in love with the SRT8 Jeep since they came out.
sucks the suby driver had a hard time launching,with SUPPOSEDLY what he had,which didnt sound like it at all, it should have been a much better race.
