You might one day Gav. I did. When I got the scooter, and later the wheelchair, it was really the most wonderful feeling - to have my independence back. You are a brilliant storyteller - I love your sense of humour. A very brave video to make though. You don't need to be funny all the time - we're all here to support each other. Manda (dibble11)
@missalgernon Brave video? Not really, I just like to talk a lot ;-) I had my serious hat on for that one, need to re do it when I've got my camera sorted =)
@missalgernon I hear what you're saying but I feel it's an important messafe and at over n8 minutes, it could put people off watching, besides I have ideas for three more new videos =)
You explanined this so well. I think it is hard for many to accept that they need to use some sort of assistive device. But like you said, it is there to help you and you can save your energy for other things. There have been times when I thought about using the electric chairs they have at the store. I wasn't afraid of being it it I was afraid that I would crash into everything, since my cog problems and learning how to use it.
Your story sounds like me and my cane, am afraid using it puts me closer to a wheelchair. So I buy a spiffy looking one, the other day, its hot pink :) were trying to be friends. I've missed you. susan
I understand this and you will know when the right time is. Use your energy doing other things...Did anyone every tell you you are a great story teller and I bet a writer. What a compelling story.

@thehappycovv Don't redo it - it was perfect. I know you're a filmmaker but you don't always have to be. It's scary stuff you're going through...

Is that your chair? I don't see flourescent orange banners, flag stickers, a squeezy, honky horn, or even a jing jing bell. Treat her right man! =)
