Was a silly title. But think how many crappy games you've played that had great titles. So given the choice.... Also, I think you underrate gamers. European gamers especially, who are fans of the RPG genre know that smaller companies always get slagged off when they release an RPG, for daring to compete with the Bethesda's etc That's why European RPG's, like this, the follow up, Divinity 2, Drakensang 1 and 2 and Gothic etc cannot get above 8.5, just like the big guys don't get below 9.0!
2:06-2:15 isn't technically true. Diablo 2 did allow classes to utilize abilities of others via runewords in its expansion, Lord of Destruction. Also, I believe Diablo had some other form of it through tomes or some such drop mechanism (not positive on that as it's been awhile, it's just what I recollect).
Nice review. I'm actually playing the game for the first time right now, and I'm about 18 hours in. The game can definitely be challenging at times, but it's not too bad. I also really appreciate the large world and attention to detail.
you truly are an angel sent in disguise, you have shown me the light of games that I would have "shrugged off" because they dont have that AAA status, saying that I am a PC gamer turned console due to money reasons and i have had an immence amount of enjoyment out of games like call of Juarez and The club because of your insights upon games like these.
thank you so much for everything and keep doing what you do because it really means alot to people even if you do it as a hobby
you will get a suprise, the bunch of people subscived to your chanel are fans(trolls normaly only subscibe if they can troll),so you will find more encouragin messages on your videos than you think(and with time more will join but sadly also more trolls will do) so, keep up the great work, thanks to you I bought kane & lynch and I had an incredible time playing it through with my BF,still think that the score you gave it was too high, but the review itself said everything what was to say.
@bigbardos Yeah, you know, I stopped giving games scores. I don't think it's a good way to review games, so any score I've previously given, completely ignore. It's just a faulty system, imo. Too many factors come into play -- what did I expect from said game, how much did I pay for it, etc, etc. But glad you enjoyed it -- I did too. Not as much "Dog Days," though. Thanks for the kind words!
Damn! That may be the only time, so I'll say it out loud (kinda): you rock my world, Van Dine! Pretty lame sentence I reckon, but hey, I'm french and it's from the bottom of my heart. Cheers!
@SnowBlind853 Dare you imply that I don't enjoy random comments like, "You suck"? lol. That's why I do reviews on Youtube, just to hear stuff like that! (Also, congrats on either naming your Youtube account on a last-gen FPS or the devs behind "Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance")
Divinity !! Should NOT be called Divinity III,as Beyond Divinity is not a follow up to Divine Divinity, but a separate story in the same gameworld.

This review is spot on. Divine Divinity (despite it's title) is a frustrating but fun little game. Thanks for all the reviews!

@U2SM Yes, my name is based on the first person shooter. I wasn't actually a fan though, I just thought it sounded cool. Shameful, I know.

@SnowBlind853 Yeah, I played it -- wasn't a fan either, for once. Surprising, I know, lol.
