these movies are just trying too hard to be "dark" as he said multiple times. they think that killing ONE kid in the 4th book makes the whole thing dark. they keep changing directors. and it's so americanized now. i don't like it. and that kid is supposedly "wise beyond his years" no he's not. he just talks fast and has an english accent. they just try to hard. umm... excuse me, but have u read any of the books! yeah, they killed ONE kid in the 4th book, but as u read on to the other books, it becomes more intense, much more dark compared to the first 3 books, and more characters die. also, it started off as kids books, and still kinda is, but the last 3 (5-7) books are more towards teen and adult books.

if they kept the movies fruity, then they aren't basing it on the books correctly.
