Fats is the only equal of Chuck Berry, & even more deservedly called the Father of Rock 'n' Roll. Did he ever make a bad record? He was also remarkably prolific. Glad he's still with us, as is Chuck, two indisputable giants of music.
I know this song from the "Blues Brothers" movie. I'm so glad that I was able to find the song almost 30 years after the movie came out. Thanks for posting! :)
Great track! No sauntering here ... Fats is rocking! I remember jumping around to this about fifty years ago. They threw me off the dance floor! Just a minute ... I'm gonna throw away this silly walking stick ... and have another go! Oops!
Best wishes to everyone from Jarrahnut in wonderful Western Australia!
in the 50yrs since this song, rocknroll changed, evolved, got more complex, flashier, self important, but it never got better. as good maybe. but don't think it gets better than this.
I used to listen to Fats Domino on my mom's suitcase phonograph! This song, Blueberry Hill and Ain't That a Shame got mixed in the rotation often! LOVE it. American Graffiti was a heck of a flick, too. Thank you for sharing this.

I just saw a tv special on Mr. Domino today, Dec 27, 2008, and there was no mention of his death.
Also, I've just checked Wikipedia, and currently as of today, he IS STILL ALIVE.

A Top 5 hit from Fats Domino in 1957. It was kept from the #1 position by Perry Como (Round and Round).
