  • Or you can transpose and NOT suck at your instrument.

  • just fags play this song in clean channel

  • Too Easy!! Give me a minor based shred sweep picking run with all the good dorian and phrygian based flourishes added to it!!!

  • IT MEANS RE"TARD"!!!

  • Did you check out my version of the song? I did it in F sharp major. I was able to play along with the song without tuning the guitar down. It is slightly higher than standard pitch but about nearly standard pitch. I have added in some solos of my own which were not in the song. The view count is not much good.

  • I leaned it a long time ago. that's mostly right

  • i hate this chord progression its over used and it is 1 of the major influences on todays bad music.

    nice lesson though.

  • @blackskulpunk sorry, i'm italian, what does tard mean?

  • You're wrong, that Are not the right chords

  • how the hell do you put 2 videos side by side in 1 video!!??? what program is that? vegas?

  • i cant find any video that teaches the solo! :/

  • @CDT565 Same its really gay :\

  • hey which amp u using??

  • is a step one rotation on the tuning things?

  • @NojoProductions no if u wanna tune it to drop D just tune the low E(thickest) string in tune withe ur D string im not sure about any other tunings

  • @AstroCreep999 thank i've been playin for a month and still dont know much

  • @NojoProductions no problem man

  • @NojoProductions dont know much about what

  • thnx a lot dude..u r a gr8 teacher

  • fag haha

  • Dude! In music class nobody knows how to actually play guitar so since the teacher wasn't teaching us much I watched this vid. and played it in class. Now I'm the Guitar God (of my school).

  • cooooooooool

  • stop givin him hate comments he is a great teacher i learnt the whole song from this guy XD

  • i hate u u talk tooo much!!!!

  • @lanetaism your a douche...

  • more distrotion plzz

  • thats horrible..and wrong

  • thats not all of it, what about the solo??

  • Thanks for all the lessons,Very easy to follow, good teacher!

  • it is basicly the same progression in what's my age again of blink 182 and another girl anather planet

  • it should be half step down.

  • okay??

  • Great but what about the solo?

  • Are you only supposed to strum on the E A D strings when you take a G5 chord? I cant get my pinky finger clear of the G string so it doesnt sound clean

  • @SVANTEORTBRANT

Use your index finger to mute all the strings, that way you can play all 6 and only get the sound of the actual notes. But yeah, you should only be playing the EAD strings for a G5.

  • @ferrit69

    Ok thanks!

  • I think you shud move all the chords down one step, then it wud match d bass line.

  • wow great guitar *_*

  • actually if you play 2 frets down (Like starting on the 1st fret) then you have it in its original form in standard tuning; the song starts with a F chord.

  • Remember kids, if your intonation is off.. your power chords will sound even shittier than they already do.

  • wow, sure one from the most complicated song ever :)

  • you can also play the song a half step down he's ain't right

  • no wonder it sounds bad you have no distortion on it

  • Great Lesson!:D

  • nice.....gud goin

  • What guitar is that? It is amazing!

  • @TyrantRave0 Its a PRS custom

  • i no a whole lot easier way to play this

  • lol 1:59 third and fifth fingers?

  • PAUL REED SMITH

  • i find it so fucking hard to play power chords and change them fast. I can play chords fine though . LOL

  • @yihd other way around to me lol

  • cool vid and thanks, my guitar is really outta tune though so yea.. need some knew strings too.

  • I know a way to play this song and it's a lot easier I think. Tell me and I might make a video about how to do it.

  • pleasee do and let me know:)

  • why so many views and no comments and ratings :L

  • not enoff distortion ..

  • so...why do i have to retune the whole guitar to play this (to the record)? why can't i just move my fingers a half step down? this is dumb.

  • hes not stopping you moving your fingers a half step

  • btw..i'm learning this with accoustic so i got to add so much to it

  • same here. it's actually pretty easy with acoustic, you just have to, like he said, tune it right for it to sound good. just try it slow, youll get it sooner or later :P

  • just to say..you ddn't say anything about G5 power chord beginning to this song until one full fucking minute into the song!!!!! but thanks for the lesson none the less..it's always good to hear tidbits

  • Is that a Marshal JMP1987 amp??? And could you make a vid for the solo part???

  • it dont sound bad in standard, just move down a fret. In the chorus just make the G# be a powerchord on the 4th fret E string in standard.

  • G D Em C, easy peasy and it souds better!!

  • nice

  • good lesson, but the solo's missing...

  • ey thanks man that helped a lot but what about the solo?

  • thx man that realy helped

  • du gör fel

  • what's about the solo ?

  • Tanks man, You're Good!

  • I played it in standard on fet down on each chord, it sounds just like the recording. when i tuned down, it did not sound right.

  • u suck

  • seriously? it sounds exactly like it

  • @cheapassfingerbordin no it isnt, right chords but it should be half step up

  • iv been trying to learn this song for forever awesome lesson

  • thanks man been wanting to learn this

  • I love the birds :)

    nice lesson too :)

  • man!...people are such haters on this guy...He's teaching you song...He's not claiming to be the greatest guitarist ever

  • @fotwunny man, I'm real sorry but u ended up insulting him even more.

  • Would help if you could play it properly. It's almost right though, you can't play it properly on std tunning... good effort tho

  • Of all the back drops you could have used... A brick wall? xD

  • Lol He used a green screen....

  • MikeXdeakin I agree with you, its only power this song is only 4 different power chords and they require 2-3 fingers. Very easy song to play and you're making it alot more difficult than it has to be.

  • Good lesson but I disagree or perhaps i miss understand what you are trying to say about your intonation.

If you tune your guitar down a half a step it should not affect your intonation. If your intonation is set up properly it should not change if you tune the string differently. It would however affect your action.

  • Your intro is so gayyyy ...... yawn

    but a pretty cool lesson!

  • ThankS!!!!!!

  • Ok. i understand this is a lesson and all but come on you should atleast show them the little Solo they have for it.

  • You guys are so cruel!

    Cmon.Hes just trying to teach!

  • nice lesson :-)

  • i learnt this song beforte he even played it, hes that slow

  • lmao

  • or ajust the song itself

  • this guys retarded, someone who doesnt know some goddamn power chords is not gonna know what intonation even is.

  • NICE PRS!

  • he's annoying..

  • shut the fuck up and play. fuuuuuck...

  • lmfao, i cant play for shit

  • he looks like a douche bag.

  • :S i hate this guy he looks so gay with that thing in his neck, hes son boring

  • does this song really need a tutorial..lol

  • he needs to learn how to teach the intro was wayyy to long and your always supposed to start and end wtih the whole full speed version of it

  • thats why it´s called solo...its on your own

  • the solo is so easy dude. you could have spent a quarter of the time explaining the the way the chords go. try again man

  • uhhh no solo?

    :/

its an easy solo, u should teach it as well

  • This guy has to be the worst teacher online. Some people just cant teach!! Being a good guitar player doesnt mean your a good teacher!!! This guy needs to give up!!!! Wake me when its over!!!

  • what's wrong with it?

  • cant be ... its the wrong angle

  • it's probably a green screen and they digitally added that wall there.

  • is the wall behind you real?

  • amazing song but doesnt sound too good that way...you forgot the solo.....nice try.

  • Comment removed

  • cala-t e toca pah!!!!!

  • and the solo??? but was funny XD boymtfm

  • mein penis ist mit dir steif geworden

  • Das ist unlogisch!

  • and the solo?

  • cool but needs distortion

  • this guy did good. enough with the bad comments this helped dude thx rock on 4ever!

  • heheheh you look like the guy from hot action cop! btw this really helped

  • damn people are so mean with the comments lol that really did help thou lol the tabs on sites are all wrong.. this is like the only thing that helped me learn this song lol thanks dude

  • Thx man

  • he forgot the slide from 2nd fret A string to 1st fret A string that you do after the chorus and before the repeat of the intro.

without that part you don't get that smooth transition.

  • If you know about "tuning down" and what intonation iss, you'll know what a fucking powerchord is. Failvideo.

  • you took 4:38 to say something that could have been shown in :30 -- or less!!

  • Seriously buddy. Everyone already knows what the fuck a power chord is!

  • NICE GUITAR. Love this song...

  • daw!

  • good worked dude

  • hehe how many punks bands have the same riffs? :d lol I know 3 band with the same first riff

  • omfg like why would he explain a powerchord. like 10 seconds to explain the easiest thing in the world. fucking kill me this guy sucks

  • What PRS is that and what is the finish?

    Great guitar, man!

  • do you get blisters on your fingers when you play a guitar long enough?

  • yeah

  • youll get calices on your fingers after a while

  • OMG !! You make it look real easy, but it isnt :(, Lol, im practising it now ... :D

  • it sounds a lot better when playing only powerchords

  • lol its like that region of the neck is high

  • is this thr realy way they play it

  • what kind of neck is that? does it have a separate fretboard?

  • NO ITS GIS no G -.-

(gis is on german the chord after G)

  • auch g sharp genannt. also called g sharp

  • this is one of my favorite songs to play but come tell me what you think about my guitar playing and singing

  • nice thats easy... thanks dude your awsome...xD

  • Is tunation a word lmao? Firefox says it isn't?

  • intaunation

  • intonation............. :(

  • Sorry, not sure bout the solo. I'll have 2 find out so I can tell u.

  • and the solo ????????

    e l'assolo????????

  • Tdude1994 - The 2nd part consists of two chords, the first 1 - I play as an A chord - which is having either 1 finger across 2nd fret, 2nd string, 3rd string and 4th string(the bottom string being the first), or having your ring finger on the 2nd fret 2nd string, middle finger on the 2nd fret 3rd string and index finger on 2nd fret 4th string. I use the second method personally but I just find that easiest.

  • im having problems with the 2nd part. What is the first chord hes playing? which frets do my fingers go on?

  • This lesson is taught very well and easy 2 understand. THANKS!!!!!

  • i've never noticed problems with tuning down a half step on my strat in regards to intonation, i only noticed a major problem when i do it with flyod rose.... comments?

  • nice clear simple easy much better than most kids on here not all though

  • Thanks!

gracias ya he sacado varios temas de tus lecciones :ho:

    muchas gracias.

    Saludos.

  • lol omg the intro sounds like gylcerine by bush to the max

  • glycerine is i whole step down from this song's verse literally, (well from standard, half step down from the recording)

  • can u post "geek stink breath" lesson? I would like to see how to play the intro

  • if you guys like him, then check out my songs, just type in A3nd3r

  • great! right hand.. left hand.. slowly.. perfekt for beginners...

  • lol cool lesson =D

  • very helpful, thanks bud

  • is half a step tuning e flat like E A d g b e

  • if you have an electric tuner, there should be the little symbol next to E or A or whatever looks like the letter "b". or to make it esier to understand, for low E for example, half step would be the note in between E and D, and you do that for all strings. hope that helped

  • and the easiest way to do that is remembering that one fret is a half step.

so to tune your E down to Eb without a tuner, just press the 6th fret on the E and tune down the E

  • ok, on the last chord, is it better to play the c5 major or minor? when teaching u played a minor but when u sped it up u played a major. otherwise, good vid!

  • is that a PRS??? or an ibenz
