I like the color of your bike & it looks good as well, If I could find one like the one you have, I would get it. Do have a question, How does the Ninja 500r compair, to the SV650 in power & top speed. I have a 04 Vulcan 500 LTD, it's fast for a cruiser type bike. Thank's, yl

5'6" 140lbs - the bike rides smooth with my gf on the back too (she's ~100lbs) - still plenty of power.

@leerayray I got an '07 Ninja Ex500 on may of this year(2011) I have to say that this thing has the MOST comfortable seat out of all the bikes I have sat on! Plus this is the most manageable bike at this engine size. Super lightweight, comfy, and I will prob own this bike and ride it until it stops working altogether. I LOVE it.

hey man love the vids, have an 03 500r myself. just a tip if you wanted to make it sound better for no extra money, take the caps off the exhaust and drill holes into the part thats right behind the cap, dont make them too big or it'll be too loud! hope that helps if you read this

I got an '08 Ninja 500. Great bike to start on, I was looking at getting a katana 600 though and still wonder if it would have been a better choice to start out on. Any thoughts?

I guess that's a judgment call. I'm in my third season with my 500. All my friends have bigger bikes, but I still like my 500. I'll probably get a new one next season. Looking back, I think it was the right choice for a beginner.

This really helped me out! When pickin a first bike, I feel like its not so much about the performance (beyond what you might read about, of course!) and not even so much the exhaust note, just that it trains ya well, treats ya right and looks good while doing it. Really liked the diff angles and shots, nice lookin bike!

People complain about the look of the 500r, but I think it looks awesome!! Great gas mileage, good handling, reliable, Quick. It's perfect. I hope they bring it back and never change it.

I really like the rear seat cover/cowl you have, that's what I plan on doing if I get the same bike.

Regular camera .. I use a Canon SD750 mounted with a cam mount from RAM.

hey he has a seat cover from custom creations...and not sure what year that is...but its something a little newer...maybe 2003
