hi can i ask some questions.....cos i install my ubuntu jaunty 9.04 today and i stuck in 800x??? resolution it is too small and then i upadte and install the nvidia hardware(driver) then i restart the system after restarting im now stuck in VGA resolution im currently using Geforce2 MX/MX400
Quick Tip; you can double click on the CD icon to open the folders then open terminal and type SUDO then drag the correct version to the terminal window and it will run also.
Thanks so much - for a newbie like myself, your demo/info was more helpful to getting the job done than on several text help sites (where they assume I actually know what I'm doing in linux).
i found out also you can make a dual boot with ubuntu and winxp seamless using rdesktop and virtualbox , i got it now with Kubuntu as my base and winxp seamless , works awesome i can still use winamp
Ubuntu killed my computer, Thanks to Ubuntu I'm on Windows XP, and yes I tried mac, did the same thing.
