  • spactaccueles catch

  • New Flying Saucer Detected....

    report to NASA

  • what a f****** catch

  • Best OUTFIT in ODI HISTORY "BEGINNING "

  • LOL....the commentator "u dont see many things like this in life, bangladesh winning yesterday" hahaha!!!!!

  • LOL....the commentator "u dont see many things like this in life, bangladesh winning yesterday" hahaha!!!!!

  • nothinng is impossible by a human being.

  • its incredible catch

  • Every video that claims to have the best catch is filled with comments that it is "One of the best, not the best", but WHERE IS BEST CATCH EVER THEN?

  • 776 fans from South Asia liked that video, rest watch soccer

  • @Pakkpatriot for the fuck sake its not soccer its FOOTBALL...

  • @latescarface21 nope its soccer. real football is here in america.

  • @Pakkpatriot some see but don't like...

  • "ONE of the best"

  • Definitely not the best catch ever but it is a good one

  • When I was young, I used to jump and pluck apples from trees. They used to be red and never moved.

  • 65 americans say you CAN'T catch without a glove

  • Harmison bowls a rubbish ball and gets a wicket

  • That's the best catch by the best name in sport - Collingwood!!!

  • Lol Guy at 0:00

  • In the 1960s, the West Indies manager speaking of the legendary Sir Gary Sobers said that he could do without Sobers the batsman and he could do without Sobers the bowler, but he could not make do without Sobers the fielder.

It's similar for Collingwood. Don't underestimate fielding ... it's fielding like this that wins matches.

So - yes - for as long as he fields like this, Collingwood is worth his place in the England side.

  • STEVE HARMISON IS THE WORST BOWLER OF ALL TIME!!!! PURE SHIT, I COULD HAV BOWLED BETTER OUT MY ASSHOLE. Collingwood a fukin pure freak fielder !!!

  • thumbs up for a no-ball

  • @LFCfansince95 I asked if it was a no-ball a long time and some pom got angry and said it wasnt and abused me. I think I found a video of this catch at a better video quality and it shows it wasn't a no-ball ... maybe.

  • all of th good catches happen against Hayden

  • Yes Collingwood is a great fielder and i like him but is it worth having him in the england team when he hasnt scored any runs this ashes series?

  • @G00n3r4Life You could say that about the majority of the England batsmen , especially pietersen who was on poor form, i would not worry about the lack of runs his fielding alone saves many runs against any oposition, England missed stuart broad in the perth test match.

  • @tonypie28 yeah true but all of the other batsman have made scores in one of the previous tests, collingwood hasnt. I think Morgan should be given a go, he likes batting against australia and england need something different.

  • he took one nearly as good in the ashes today, the bastard

  • wow amazing catch

  • collingwood is a spectacular fielder

  • Pretty amazing! I think the caught and bowled Shane Bond did to dismiss Cameron White is better though. If you want a demonstration of amazing reflexes look that up!

  • greatest catch in cricket history.

  • @leyland07 Oh yes, you fucking idiot. And let's remove the helmets from BMX. And the parachutes from skydiving. Do you see how stupid of a comment you just posted? How terrible of a point you just made?

Then again, in America, we don't have running of the bulls and we also don't stand on the edge of a track in drag races. Cause we're not fucking primitive idiots.

By the way, rugby is very popular in America.

  • Xmaggot93X, I have 3 baseballs at home and a bat and glove. I've been to see a few baseball games. however judging by your comment you neirther actually play sport or understand physics. However try reading my comment first. I did not say baseballs as "Foamy bubbles", I said they ahve 1mm (that's metric you know) of give in the surface, this is the difference between a headache and fractured skull.

Both games require a high degree of skill it's jsut that one is more likely to kill you

  • @SAXONSELTON seriously can we drop the gay british argument of WAH american football wear pads, and its a pussies version of rugby, its nothing like rugby as you would know if you had watched it you dumb fuck and also the american footballers despite their pads get hit harder and suffer bigger hits than rugby players ever do and martin johnson himself, a british rugby legend is a huge NFL fan and expressed his amazment of american footballers toughness so get off your burberry sofa you dumb fuck

  • That is a horrible delivery to get a wicket with lol

  • what is the name of this man 0:43?

  • @TheWaqarpk Steven Harmison

  • Xmaggot93X. Two things about your comment

    1. If the pitcher hits the batter he gets to walk a base. In cricket, tough. Mike Gatting got his nose smashed to pieces and dropped his bat on the wicket so he's out., and

    2. A cricket ball is significantly harder than a base ball. A base ball has about 1mm give in the leather, this makes a huge difference. If you don't believe me toss a base ball a foot in the air and head it, it doesn't hurt. A cricket ball is as hard as stone don't try it

  • @SAXONSELTON Regardless of the fucking rules, both hurt.

And judging by what you said about a baseballs, I'm assuming that you've never seen one in your life. Baseballs aren't exactly soft, foamy bubbles. If you hit yourself in the head with a baseball, you'd have one huge headache in the morning.

  • the more amazing fact is

    bangladesh won a game...

  • @Xmaggot93X would you be brave enough to do this? watch?v=w-f5pfBgpNE Have a bowler bowling it your face at 90+ mph for over 40 minutes straight. I think not.

  • @jaxpower1 There's a fine line between bravery and stupidity that you're not understanding...

  • did he just say bangladesh won the day prior? wow...

  • The great catch ever taken...

  • da fukn best u can eva c. . a superstar catch

  • Comment removed

  • screamer, but i cant go past Adam Dale's catch in the state comp few years back

  • @dosh225 how is adam dale

  • Comment removed

  • see catches of Afridi

  • @Danish61498 yeah they suck all by fluke(there are hardly any by the way)

  • wicked =]

  • 60 americans have no idea what they just watched.

  • @jaxpower1 I'm an American and I understand cricket. But then again... I stopped watching after I saw the guy at 0:00 :)

  • @jaxpower1 dont u mean 60 million amercians

  • @jaxpower1 this one does, that was sensational!

  • @jaxpower1

Comments like these are the reasons why Youtube is stupid at times. If there's one dislike to one particular music video, some idiot will comment "1 Justin Bieber fan doesn't like this video" I'm American and I clearly understood what I just saw. Just because cricket isn't big in the US doesn't mean there's people who don't know about the game. There's 300 million people in the US, and we're all different, we're not all the same

  • @finecool1 ok bro, was just a joke. calm down. obviously serving it's purpose, because someone getting worked up over something so insignificant made me laugh.

  • @jaxpower1 Advice them to get iDea

  • @rsloverboys hahahaaa

  • @jaxpower1 Yeah.Cricket is a useless game. Those 22 guys scorch themselves in the sun for 5 days and still there is no guarantee for a result.

  • Show this to a baseball fan!

  • i think the jonty rhodes is the best fileder ever.....but collingwood is also one of them....

  • @AdamRyan2012 chris harris!

  • Its an amazing taken catch!!!

  • wow nice video

  • You could put together a video of great catches Colly has taken just in 2010 alone, the one against Michael Clarke at mid wicket in t20 final and 3 in the just finished 1 day series against Pakistan, ( 1 of them a caught and bowled in the last game which he took at the second attempt is the best )

  • it was best catch ever in the cricket history i seen

  • Title says best ODI catch. So that excludes ALL first class cricket and even Twenty20 and even List A games. Title says best ever catch in a 50 overs international match only

  • Damien Martyn did something similar in covers a decade ago. It's great, but not the best

  • Best catch I've ever seen.

  • i dont know what is more spectacular, the guy at 0:01 or the catch

  • @Acedo LMFAOOOOOOOO!!

  • @Acedo because of the guy at 0:01 the catch is spectacular

  • I still think Matthew Sinclair catching Hayden in the Chappell/Hadlee was the best catch in ODI history but then again I'm from NZ so I would say that.

  • just mindblowing

  • On the slow mo replay shown from side on you could almost hear Hayden thinking "aw for fuck sake !"

  • i could watch this any number of times

  • Good catch... don't know if it is the best

  • how come hayden always gets owned

  • aus vs eng at rose bowl 2005

  • For a better catch see Mohd Kaif dismiss Nick Knight at the 2002 Natwest series. Or see Ab De Villiers dismiss Praveen Kumar at the 2010 IPL

  • Best catch

  • amazing catch....

  • amazing

  • Spectacular

  • gutted Hayden, what an incredible catch!!!!!!!!!!!

    go on the collingwood..

  • Everyone remembers the catch but no one remembers who won. (I'm guessing it was England by the score after Hayden got out)

  • @thepokerbrat69 why can't you just appreciate both sports...

  • would'vwe been easier to use his left hand

  • @XxZAMIXAxX nope...he is a righty...it would've been harder for him to use his left hand!

  • kewl...........

  • awesome....!!!

  • Amazing catch man

  • seriously wtf at that dude in the beginning

  • wow

  • I'm studying abroad in America at the moment and they all go on about how amazing baseball is and how boring cricket is, needless to say they were speechless after I showed them this video.

  • Haydens Reaction somes that catch up lol. Great Catch

  • Best Catch Of ODI HISTORY!

  • It's Always Haydos

  • verry..........................good

  • This is a fantastic catch, I don't know if this is the best though. It certainly rates as one of the most athletic I have seen.

  • Jonty Rhodes, Herchelle Gibbs, AB DeVilliers, made way better catches than that

  • nowhere near the best catch ever,,fatty vautins catch was better than that

  • Comment removed

  • pretty gd but AFRIDI HAD A BETTER CATCH

  • ya, hes good for ball & pitch tampering as well

  • Different people have different views on what makes the best catches, it is the video makers opinion that this is the best, so be it. One thing though this is a great catch.

73mandala, Possibly so, being generally unable to see australian cricket I cannot comment on most of the fielding by the Australian team, I can however say that Collingwood does run people out from wherever he fields and takes many great athletic catches. He need not have run someone out from there having taken a catch.

  • i've seen Ponting and Hussey catch a heap of balls like that and better and also run them out from there

  • one of the best....still NOT THE BEST!!!!

  • justin kemp boundary catch!

  • awesome but i hate engelend but still awesome

  • agreed.

  • no such country as engelend you fool and without us there would be NO cricket so take your dubmness elsewhere

  • No engelend but dubmness?

  • look at the guy wereing a bikii in the starting

  • for thos complaining about the catch n sayin its not the best the video clearly says best catch IN ONE DAY CRICKET

  • good, but no way the best. Title should be changed by YT Admin.......

  • its one of the best but not the best...

  • 100% Skill

  • iam a pakistani and i must admit that is the best catch ever ..collinwood is the best fielder after jonty rodes ...i can just dream one day a pakistani player wil take a catch like that lol

  • yeah dude, even i think the same. hope my team player(indian players) will take a catch like that...........

pure skill presentation this is..... BRAVO

  • @harishdanxd2 indians are not the best fielders in the world but they r way better then pakistani fielders i have to admit

  • anyway buddy, both of our teams need to do lot more in fielding department.

i guess in compare to england, aussies, new zealand, south africa and bangladesh..... our team is far behind.

but don't worry when we have dinesh kartick, shoeib malik and other players.

  • I dont know if this is the best ever ODI catch, but it definitely has the best camera work. Some catches dont show up quite as well but Collingwood is filmed straight on and you clearly see what goes on. Makes it very easy to appreciate. His catch against Pakistan in a test at Lords is similar best just doesnt look as exciting.

  • Crap. Jonty Rhodes used to catch these on a regular basis. You should see some of his exceptional catches!

  • Harmison, you did nothing! Collingwood is what did it, i don't know why Harmison is cheering, lol.

It would of went for four.

  • never ever, ever, ever let steve harmison claim that. its all about the amazing catch! harmison is shite.

  • Amazing catch....simply amazing

  • nunhmm total neu hier wer mag oder will mit mir chattn der meldet sich ja ^^

  • nah matthew sinclairs was better i reckon.. just cos he had to move so far in such a short space of time... if you watch his catch carefully you'l see because you can see him in the background at the start of the vid and then look where he catchs the ball... i mean this is a great catch no kidding but i think its 2nd to Sinclairs... and not cos im a kiwi

  • i agree good sir lol

  • Matt Sinclair's catch was extremely good but guys like Paul Collingwood (or Jonty Rhodes) would have got to the ball quicker and make it look easier.

  • Hey don't stereotype Australians mate. I mean jeez can't we all just get along?

  • Hayden's been fucked twice - once by Collingwood and once by Sinclair.

  • @farmer1710 You see a glove in their hand mate? Ive played both cricket and baseball, believe me it makes a world of difference

  • Great catch but I have seen much better.

  • This is seriously the one catch that i haven't forgotten. I can only remember two great pieces of fielding, johnties superman dive to break the stumps and this catch, and trust me ive seen alot of games from 1998 onwards.

  • I've seen at least a 10 better catches in Australian Domestic cricket. let alone at international level. It's a great catch, but far from being the best in ODI history, you ever heard of Waugh, Ponting, Rhodes, Gibbs?

  • lol!! look at the guy in the crowd at the beginning of the video...great catch by the way...

  • good but not best

  • collingwood rocks but not like jonty jonty is jonty

  • awesome catch but the commentators dont even get excited.

  • und du meinst das du hier fündig wirst? ;-)

  • there was one more catch tht colly had taken, on the straight boundary, running towards his left and a single left haded catch, amazing just before the boundary line

  • I remember seeing this on TV, I thought that is the best ever. I'm Australian and I'll admit it.

  • 00:0- 00:1 dad?

  • lol was that a man in a dress lol ?

  • Ssu!!!

  • colly's been our best fielder this century

  • I am indian but i must admit its a great catch mate

  • risen like a salmon!!! colly we salute you

  • wow !!!!!! excellent !!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • simply awesome...

  • No doubt ,No doubt the best catch

  • Anyone know his ODI ranking now?

  • hes the 18th best

  • 18th ODI batsmen currently but that should go higher if he continues his form in the current South Africa series.

  • unbelievable catch

  • Looked like a goal keeper save sending the ball over the cross bar. Good catch

  • no way

  • ita a pity collingwoods batting isnt as good as his fielding...it might help the shithole that is englands middle order

  • see his performance today? :P

  • @nathangonmad

yeah he played very well...good hundred

wish he did it more often

  • best catch

  • the usa cant play cricket, neither can the pommies, sad thing is they sent ther dirty stinking no good convicts over to a baron land with fuck all on it to start a country and gues what? WE START FUCKING FLOGGGING THEMAT THER OWN GAME! and yes, this is a brilliant catch, im not saying its not, but its a one off, look at the history of the ashes, aussies had it for about 12-14 years at some point... test cricket is what counts, you got some catching up to do pommies... good luck

  • who won the last ashes?

  • Who has won 9 out of the past 11 series? Enjoy the Ashes while you have them because come Dec 20th 2010 (3rd test at the WACA) they'll be back in Australian hands.
