@lllBADMANlll the GTR isn't that expensive in Japan. I don't see why anyone would bother and buy a GTT. It's expensive but not "AS" expensive as if you had purchased it and imported it to America. They go for around 50-60k AUD (60-65k USD) and around 35-40k JPN low mileage.

Ummm yes they are, the r32 and r34 were never nhtsa or dot approved which means they are illegal to drive in the US, Canada, and Mexico. Unless they are one of the few that came from motorex or is used as a show car/ track car. Yeah it's true you might get lucky and find a way to illegally import one, but the nhtsa has been cracking down on illegal skylines lately and a bunch of them were crushed! Having a state title doesn't make a car federally legal.

yes i have seen 2 R33's in edmonton already. they started making them in 94 i think. possibly 95. but i definately know my skylines and i have seen countless crappy R32's that arent taken care of and then i saw 2 R33s. i think there is only 1 R34 in canada in quebec or something. i saw it for sale on autotrader for 100 grand. at least there are lots of GTR R35s tho going around.

Yeah, the Z-Tune LOOKS more or less stock, but there's almost nothing stock on that car. I saw a video on the car's production history, and almost 90% of it was new, from the bored out 500HP 2.8L engine that was a pain to tweak to keep it smog legal and keep the cats from melting to the beefed up diffs, that each had their own radiators, to the full carbon front end. That car is beastly.

R34s can be imported to the US as long as it comes in two boxes, the chassis with no motor and the other the motor. but good luck getting the DMV to let you register it. I doesnt meet the US emissions standards...BAH who needs the ozone layer anyways. But why do they let R33s and R32s in? Weird huh? I think there just afraid that one of these things in the states could out run there motorolas.
