I know I am not the only Christian who has read the Bible before, but missed key components. Not only do I believe him about America being Babylon, but he is right and I must have missed Jeremiah 51 last time I read it or either just mindlessly following pastors or evangelists because "they must know more about the Bible that I could ever know." ....the problem with dumbed down american Christians is that we claim our national identity first and our identity with Christ LAST.....too many would rather have their ears tickled with the doctrins of man (pre-trib rapture?) than search out the truth of the word of God for themselves.

@Ilumnye you must realize that these people where probably under the impression that Babylon was not America. In fact, they probably dont even know what Babylon is. I know that I have been tought lies in my life, I had to unlearn then to learn the truth. That was very difficult and it caused me to be a skeptic. So try not to point fingers at people so much. I probably would have said nothing too. Just because Im not that outgoing. Doesnt mean that I dont believe him though.
