yep, I know that feeling too, looking for a song for years. I'm still looking for some songs. It drives you crazy, but feels good when you find what you're looking for.
Salsa smurf was a hard one, which was on my list until now. Thanks ya'll. :)
what do you like? If you like hip hop/rap right now, I guess you have poor taste in music. Hip hop now suck ass and it is so unlistenable. If it weren't for these old school hip hop artist, they would not be these new school hip hop artist. Old school is way better and the beats were faster than now. It is slow and bad. Hip hop was ruined during the mid to late 90's.
what are you talking about have you heard some of the songs that are right now? have you heard lil waynes music, have you heard his voice ugh, makes you wanna puke. man this music is doper then all the shit out right now. and that indie rap sucks balls man shit has no flow and style
CORRECTION: #TWO is "Adventures in Success" by WILL POWERS. From the LP "Dancing for Mental Health." Also released as an extended 12" single. (1884?)
I have no idea what track #3 is...
The LP was briefly available on CD a few years ago, and used copies can be found on the internet. The video for this song (and others by WILL POWERS), including the 12" mix are available elsewhere on YOUTUBE.
No 12 is not Jive Rhythm Trax. Look it up, it's on youtube. I should know, it's one of my all time mixing faves..wish I could help you with the others that haven't been id'd yet.
I just checked my Salsa Smurf and thats actually how the song sounds, though it totally sounds like it has the Trans Europe Express drum beat layered over it.
You have to remember that you got that from a hot mix. It could have been a mix in or mix out. It also could have been a dub version or material added by the dj. The base track is definitely Last Night a Dj Saved my Life.
