  • Define playing god... I fill godlike whenever I turn on my air conditioner...when I turn on lights on any dark place and even when I use my bicycle... Who is to say we haven't been playing at god since the dawn of life on earth??!!

  • I love your intro music!

  • It irritates me when people repeat the blind notion that the Internet could become conscious. For the most part, this guy is in every way just a reporter. He clearly is no authority and his predictions are either made by more prominent names or collected from the Internet without judgment for what's good or bad.

  • I really like that he is always pinpointing that humane technology,in order to function, confronts the current capitalistic system. This cohesion makes absolute sense.

    Brilliant man...

  • @21centimetres I'm so glad somebody gets this too! :-) Look out for my forthcoming video called "Singulairty or Decline?" to be posted on this channel in February 2012.

  • MATRIX

  • I like what he says at the ending. One example of proof is one great thing we did in history, of getting to the moon. We wanted to do this, and we even made it a race and we focused on it greatly there was a lot of money wasted and errors, made because there we didn't set many limits for our selves. If we all WANTED to do some of the things stated in this video, it probably would not be long at all before we could see them achieved, we just have to have the same mindset as we did back then.

  • this is gold.

  • We seem to be handling the troubles of Pandoras box pretty good. That's a kind of technology...

  • Informative, I enjoyed this~

  • this is mind blowing, and took half an hour from writing my research paper, but half an hour well spent!

  • @xeliosIII Many thanks. Good Luck with the paper! :-)

  • Pandora's box has the same true origin as the genesis story, of Adam & Eve eating the apple of knowledge - in my opinion. Its just a desire to resist change, fear of unmasking. It's the symbol of pure conservatism. It's holding us back.

  • From 12:10-12:35 is the saddest part of this video.....evolution? what a joke (the fossil record has no transitions from any species to another, its a lie).....do you still not realize that only intellect creates? God exists and came up with the physical organic blueprints for all life........it took, "intelligence" to create the machines right?.....how much more intelligence does it take to make an atom or molecule.....Yes God's got something better than the "organic computer" ......Peace

  • @videojeffhh ALL lifeforms are transitional fossils. Life reproduces, it, metaphorically speaking, recreates itself, absolutely automatic, without much intellect (look at fish and insects). It's all an information processing system that is absolutely autonomous and self-regulating. What you call intellect is just anthropomorphizing what is essentially without intellect. You answers are just non-answers, the end to every question. Who programmed god? Who created god? Just more questions...

  • Cool, "however" even better than that, thank U sir ;~))

  • come on Chris - get the google ads going!!

  • @TheDantan194 As a YouTube partner I've got the Google Ads going! :-)

  • in regards to reproducing machines, take a look at the movie batteries not included, the two saucer creatures came out of the sky and were sentient and there was a female and male saucer. and the two saucers had a plug the they could feed themselves with, and they ate metal which then resulted manufactured within saucer babies. maybe they came from humans of the future come back in time to moniter earth during a time of computing engineering [the eighties]

  • The tapping from the prosthetic sounds like The Master... you know "Sound of the Drums" "last of the Time Lords"?

  • "Impossible" to think of humans without machines? Scary... what will happen to still-existing primitive tribes? Extinction?

  • @MarnaCOG7 Yeah it is scary. But I think those poor tribes have been condemned by the technological "abuse" of the rest of us -- though perhaps this is an evolutionary process?

  • @MarnaCOG7 : We have/are experiancing two different evolutionary paths, Technological and Tribal

  • Just take a nap buddy. We'll wake you when we get there.

  • i can tell this guy is a devout evolutionist .

  • Love the ejay music, so 90's. ARPA are working in Autonomous Aerial Vehicles so perhaps Skynet make still be on the horizon.

  • Ejay music indeed! Skynet may yet arrive in many forms . . .

  • @javonoUTube i also think that robots will take control in any form sometimes.

    Very interesting and good video

  • Love the videos :)

  • Many thanks!
