I don't get why there is all kinds of hate for this. It is a non-violent form of sporting. Can a dog with this kind of strength be intimidating? Hell yeah! But as long as it is treated well at home and socialized there is little chance this dog would be mean. He is just insanely strong. What about hunting dogs? Ya know... the kind bred to chase animals so their owner can shoot it, then fetch the dead animal.

Here can a champion dog fight go for 10-20k dollars. Often the dogs dont fight to death, the owners wanna keep the dogs and call it of if they see that the other dog is stronger. Its the middle class ppls fun, not poor ppl like USA. Dogs are strong and in top shape. We have rednose pitbulls which are sold for 2500 euro/puppy. I dont like dogfight 'cause Im a lover, not a fighter. But the dogs are only doing what they are breed to do. Its not good but the name PITBULL says it all. Peace!

Thera are many type of dog fighters. In USA often the dogs are in bad shape 'casue u have so many Pitbulls and its often poor ppls "fun" or way to get some money. U fight for pocketchange and dont put you.r pride in the dog, its just a "toiol" In Europe, East Europe and Russia ppl really take care of their ONE dog, he/she is treated like a champ, trained fed and often respected. Bloodline and padegree is used here and the dogs are agressive without ppl fukking them up in some way.

It's true that they would not be doing this in the wild because pit bulls do not exist in the wild. They are domesticated dogs that were bred to work. They depend on humans and in many ways humans depended on them. Starving children have nothing to do with people and their animals.

Look up the Bernese Mountain Dog. They're used to pull carts on farm. Are you going to spit in the face of farmers and owners that have their dogs pull carts?

Working class dogs were bred to WORK. If working class breeds don't, it can make them destructive and it takes a lot of time and effort to help train you and your dog for.

No jackass, it's a job. They're a working class breed, and this is giving them a job to do. The harnesses/collars used are designed to NOT hurt the dogs. And the dogs are in their best shape in order to compete. Well fed, and VERY healthy.

This is nothing compared to starving a dog, and forcing it to fight for his/her life for food. I don't understand why you would even think that.

Actually, I do PIT BULL rescue, and that's how it's done. I mean, unless YOU fight your dog and you're telling me that's not how YOU do it.

I've rescued dogs FROM fighting rings. NOT ONCE was a dog in TOP shape, well fed, or healthy! Fighting dogs are used as tools to get money, not members of the family.

I was scared of the breed for a while, but after doing my research and learning the FACTS and the TRUTH, I realized what awesome dogs they are. My Pittie lives with 4 other small breed dogs under 10lbs. She's about 60lbs, and my Yorkie pushes her around.

We've been training her for weight pulling, and she LOVES it. I hate seeing something a pit does that's good get shot down like that. They get so much bad press as it is...

@hmongarmy ... um. do you have any idea on what you are talking about? fighting dogs are kept in deplorable conditions at best, they are fed but it sure is not what I would consider healthy food, and they ARE underfed, especially during the conditioning process. Fighting dogs are absolutely NOT conditioned by healthy means. They are done as quickly and cheaply as possible.

small, but dead strong for its size...and yes it is healthy for the dog, they have natural muscles that shows up for a reason without any special training, special training only comes into competition weight pulling. :)
