LOL Talk about a sleeper....too bad these little 2.2's never got the recognition they deserved! good to see there's people that know about them and keep them alive! I've never owned one (just a K-car once) as I'm more of a fan of Japanese cars from the eighties, but as far as I'm concerned Dodge outdid itself with that engine...too bad it took them so long to get back to making small bad-ass engines!

love it. my bro has a GLH omni and my dad has a GLHS shelby. he also has two challengers and a shelby CSX plus a 3 of a kind wagon with 650 horse power. :D his glhs has 550 horse power. there is only 157 of the CSX model he owns.

They made 750 and 1000 and 498 total csx's so your numbers are off. That said you might mean the 89 CSX VNT with the Recaro seats and the wide tire option which is less common than the other 89 CSX VNT's.

i use toh ave a 80 024 w/ the sport package (spoiler, front end lip) but it had the vw 1.7l. i swapped it out for a 88 daytona's 2.2l t. eventually i had it running high 14's but the frame was rusting. poor thing only had 83k on the body...

The car traps 133mph, but it's not being WOT shifted. I think stiffer rear end will help, but WOT shifting will put it in the Tens!

Probably the stock rear suspension. I figure the stock suspension wasn't meant to handle the amount of HP he's pushing to get that car in the 11's. Very nice job though.
