This creation is magic. Your Bio-dream version is such a delicate complement, gracing the mistress. Moonbows & cheshire cat grins, my stars what a dance!
It is marvelously beautiful footage and great work to put it together; the music sounds like it would be created exactly for these views. I been searching for something at least close to this for years..
Thanks so much for the great comment and interest in my music :-) I'm happy you're enjoying my work and glad to hear that iTunes is helping to get it out there where it might be appreciated ! Cheers!
The moon rings on your video is more familiar to me as lunar halos. I've seen a couple of them in my life.....both when the skies were not ruined with chemtrailing activities. The skies were black, cloudless, no haze that is so pervasive now. Very nice video.
They do seem to have a many names, and I have seen some very light ones in what appears to be dark, clear skies as well. They are said to be light refracted through extremely fine (and otherwise invisible) cirrus clouds. Indeed the skies are frequently all hazed up with jet trails and such here too, but we do get occasional runs of clear night skies in winter, and in summer there are often many weeks in a row of cloudless/trail-less skies - fascinating stuff to study. Thanks for visiting!
@blessedONE333returnz, Attention, the monthly meeting of the Westboro Baptist Church will begin with some chants of hatred, in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ...
You fuckbitch. I hear there are medicines for severe premenstrual PSYCHOSIS. You liar. You rant some shit about being a cancer survivor and how you visit others for support -- a bitch who is as angry and bitter as you (Queen of Caps Lock All UpperCase Ranting) would scare the hell out of patients. You psychotic cunt.
Thanks for the nice note... You are of course always welcome to use my video and music for your own non-commercial video projects and uploads. If you get a copyrighted material notice, you can ignore it - I have authorized free use for everyone, so the notice is just for information and won't hurt your account or channel :-) Cheers!
I always strive to see things in nature in new ways, and I'm often surprised and amazed to see what's really happening when it's sped-up (or slowed down) to match our ideal speed of perception... I'm happy to hear you're enjoying my efforts as well :-) Thanks so much for watching and the nice comment!
During the daylight hours when exposure time is 1/25sec - 1/500sec, I usually shoot about 1 frame every 2-5 seconds. However, at night the exposures are much longer - anywhere from 8 - 32 seconds each, in which case I shoot one frame immediately after the previous one, with only the small amount of processing the camera does in between shots. :-)
@jcmegabyte these tips are very useful for an upcoming project im doing thank you. however my project is postponed until my computer gets fixed. but if you use dragon stopmotion for your time lapses do you know how i can get photos onto it with out shooting them with the program its self?
Here are a couple of techniques I've used: You can shoot live video and then capture frames from the video at regular intervals (every 1 - 4 seconds), or simply shoot them with a digital still camera like I do. Once you have all your still frames, you can "build" them into a time lapse video using Photolapse, or one of the other freeware jpg-to-video apps out there. Once you have your time lapse video, you can continue your project from there. :-)
Indeed - it seems there is some sort of amazing natural entertainment going on around us most of the time, if we only take the time to watch it :-) Thanks for visiting!
That particular combination of camera and telescope worked out pretty well, and oddly, my newer HD camera won't focus properly into the telescope's eyepiece so I have to use the older SD footage :-) Thanks for stopping by!
Indeed the images and soundtrack are quite relaxing - the dream version of "Bio" was meant to be exactly that :-) Thanks so much for the view and nice comment!
Yea - it's nearly impossible to film anything in the sky without some trails getting into the shots... That's how originally started filming those activities as well... Thanks for watching and commenting! =)
You're right - this collection does feature a few of my older clips as well as a lot of new footage. Usually, I release the individual full-length clips on the JcmdiStockFootage channel AFTER I release the main production, but sometimes it works out the other way around. Also, some of the older clips are so unique that re-filming them would be impossible, so I resurrect them from time to time :-) Thanks for checking it out!
NIce :) I love moonfootages! What telescope did you use/ how did you attach the camera? I got some similar footage but not as steady shot as you have ;)
Only the opening video (the really zoomed moon craters) was shot with a Celestron 80 EQ. I just held the camera up to the telescope's eyepiece (very hard to hold still!) to get the shot. The rest of the shots were filmed with my usual equipment - tripod-mounted Canon HF100 HD camcorder, and several Canon still cameras using various telephoto lenses, the largest of which is a 800mm mirror with a 2x teleconverter. Not great image quality but cheap and interesting! :-)
Seems nearly impossible to get any sky footage without a few of them getting into the frame. Fortunately, we do get lots of days with no trails at all, but on those days there are usually no clouds either, so the sky is just pure blue. That's no so great for daylight timelapse filming, but does work out well for stargazing/filming!
I am glad you came and made comment on my video, that made me to visit you and to see your beautiful video....and I am glad I have seen this one ...it is great.
I am coming by time to time to watch your work again and again. And I must say it is still awesome, the music, the footage mixed together... Thank you for it!
Those interesting clouds, moonbows and other cool events don't happen very often so it does take a long time to accumulate them :-) Keep at it and the good stuff/'s bound to turn up eventually!
