We played this song..in our "rep" class..with 1 viola, 1 chello, umm 4 violins, 2 flutes, 3 steel pans, 1 bass steel pan :D..but with this song we also did an arrangment where we joined "les Toreadors Song" with "Habanera" and "dance" all together for a 7 minute peace..got a standing ovation..but i wish we had percusionists..it woulda sounded better..:( you guys were great

no, actually. this is les toreadors' song from Carmen Suite No. 1 by Bizet for orchestra.  In the opera Carmen though, this piece starts off in the orchestral overture (the prelude as you call it)
