@deadlymassacre1 It all boils down to opinion which is what I was also going to mention. Does that same quote of yours pertain to american cartoons that are also subbed and dubbed in other countries? In my opinion subs and dubs are not any better or worse. To me I have episodes of bleach in english subs and I also love the english voice cast because listening to both version they are just about equal in execution so I don't follow your sports car analogy it is why I don't understand animefans

@deadlymassacre1 It's all on opinion kiddo. It really just depends on your preference. Some people want to finish the series faster since the dub can be a bit behind due to the dates of licensing, others just like hearing the language and claim that it helps them learn Japanese, (not proper language mind you, but it can help), but mostly it's because of the acting. Here's my thought, the sub is really the actors speaking into a mic, now granted it's not as easy as talking, but it's not exactly..

Not only do they have to say a translated line that holds as much meaning/power as the original one, they also have to do it in a certain voice/tone, AND in a time limit with the mouth flaps. So yeah, it's like comparing Disney films (which are still beautiful, but a bit easier to act in) to Dubbed Anime Films. And people have this idea that ALL dub companies are bad when a few dubs get screwed up. YU-GI-OH, Sailor Moon, & some even say Naruto

Mainly when they throw bad dubs in, usually 4Kids is their reasoning for saying dubs suck. It's ONE company, Funimation, VizMedia, BangZoom!, they do things differently. 4Kids doesn't really dub anime IMO, they Americanize it. REAL dub companies try to hold the story of the Jap. ver, and show it in English just as wonderfully, that's the point of a dub. Some fail, true, but not all are bad. Some good dubs are:

@deadlymassacre1 Full Metal Alchemist, Death Note, Cowboy Bebop, School Rumble, The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya (granted I didn't like Wendy Lee too much in that one, but she performs well), Code Geass, Tenchi Muyo!, Air TV, Ranma 1/2 (debatable in some parts, but still good) These are all good dubs. Did people forget them or something? Dubbers are just as good as subbers, but they look to 4Kids and ignore that. Why?

Others can be forged to carefully transport a family comfortably and safely. They solve different needs, one speed, one safety. With age both can be run down into 'junk cars'. But what makes it a junk car? Because it's not "cool" or because its "old"? Think about it. And as they say.. one persons trash is anothers treasure. ;) Thank you and goodnight!

And it's about a life of few teenagers, it's like a comedy anime, it's very popular, and loved by many people. Lots of people like it for it's "randomness". The girls in the anime like to talk about lots of different topics xD and Konata (blue hair) is just an all time legend.

the anime is called lucky star, its widely loved by otakus and japanophile/weeaboos due to the age of the characters vs. their chibi depiction. the show has almost no plot, can be watched out of order, and features several anime character stereotypes. Would be classified as "slice of life" genre.
