@ultraviolet10 I work in health care and have done rehab with patients post slow speed accidents. Trust me, a few moments of heat and discomfort is worth wearing gear. Having said that, maybe this fellow was pointing out that others may think it's OK to not practice safe riding if they see a pretty girl on a bike (ie. must be normal). You're an adult and no one can tell you what to do...just enjoy and be safe

I ride a 650R Ninja on the street and I have a 636 that's track only. I don't understand your point, even if you ride easy and someone clips you at 40 mph it's going to SUCK if you don't have all your gear on. Would love t see a vid of your track day .On an avrage day i wear a mesh jacket , steal jeans and reg leather gloves.On days where i,m gonna get a little crazy on the back roads i wear leather every thing .Lots of people dont wear all there gear cause there not going to drive that agressive or around that many people.The one thing i allways wear is a full helmet....Ride safe ..ride2die has sum killer pic,s of what yer talking about..
