u get crowns by defeating all the organization members at the cavern of remembarance, beating all the mushrooms challanges and defeating terra

u get the crowns by a order u cant change the colour at ur will (at leats thats what i think, like i have the silver now and i don´t think i can change it back to bronze, sooo)
