Oh man I wish it were for real! I love the Phantasm movies and I have all four on DVD. It would be nice to have a 5th movie to go with them but only if Don Coscarelli is directing it and all the original cast members are in it. No remake. No one can replace Angus Scrimm.
@DixieDevil Yea but I know Don won't make another. I've come to terms with that. Angus is just getting waaaay to old. I don't think he can manage another major role, that and the fact that Don's been waiting for an opportunity to present itself and I just can't imagine that one hasn't shown up yet. I dunno lol
@TheLongLakeRockstar I was thinking about that as well. Angus was born in 1926 so he's 85 if I did the math in my head right. If Angus is not up for any major roles anymore then it's best not to do a 5th Phantasm movie. Angus played the Tall Man to perfection and in my opinion it wouldn't be right for anyone else trying to play that role. I think on this rainy night I am going to watch Phantasm IV. I'm about due for a fright from the Tall Man. LOL
@bradfordfields81 I know but I've finally come to terms with the fact that it's not gonna happen. Angus is getting old and It feels like Don is interested in other pursuits.
