I went to go see them at a Street show in the middle of Saint Louis. they played through 3 songs and then there was this giant arc of lighting across the sky and the drummer went into this giant drumsolo acompanied by thunder. it was beyond amazing but then the concert promoter came out saying the show was cancelled. I was super bummed, but its a good memory none the less.

I've owned this album since before GH:WOR, and you know what? I don't give a fuck how all these new listeners have found this music. They have, and that's all that matters. Good on them for doing something fun whilst listening to great music.

@AQDeathstar i agree, i would even go as far as to say guitar hero is a GOOD thing for any music scene, especially Indie, its a great thing that guitar hero is going and getting all this stuff out there, ive picked up a few bands from GH1-3 myself (but not silversun, been a fan for YEARS)

It's a game and it obviously got some people into good music, and hell, it's fun even if you already play the real guitar... I think people tend to just be followers, they see that the "Big Thing" is saying people who play guitar hero have no lives, so people say it even if they don't believe it.
