Idiot Drivers in New Kensington - People Running Red Lights

I drive thru there maybe once a week. I have a friend that lives up past Beermuda. That light is pretty bad. Also its a pain in the ass if you hit it red :P hahahah.

@Pemo58 Just because a person has a job does not mean it gives them a pass to put others in danger because they can't learn to leave 5 minutes earlier. Yes, it does generate revenue for the city. However, it also solves a huge problem. Before I posted this video I had everyone telling me recent stories of almost getting crushed at this intersection. I'd rather something be done than wait for them to get hurt. I'd like to see them get rid of the drugs as well... maybe an idea for my next video.

I think it would be interesting to see it from the opposite way. When you are at that red light and taco bell is on your right, that light turns green and its like you're at the races! I can't tell you how many times I'm in the merge lane and someone will try to push me out of the way with their car just so they can get ahead. They definitley need to watch that entire intersection!!!

@iupgirl52 I agree even the intersection by Valley High School is bad too I almost got creamed there the other day by a truck turning at 50-60 mph and when my light turned green he wasnt even in the turning lane yet and he still went and almost hit me when i was turning Are people in that much of a hurry that missing the light is going to make that much of a difference and is it worth it to possibly hurt or kill someone just to make a light

This idiot is probably one of those people that hits their brakes when coming to an intersection just in case it turns yellow so that they can immediately slam on their brakes in front of everbody behind them to avoid "breaking the law". If you know this intersection, you'd know that the left turn lanes take FOREVER to turn, so he'd have plenty of safe time to video this without causing any danger to anyone else.

While everyone has varying views on this issue, the main thing to be focused on is future prevention. Yes, I should not be worried about a camera while stopped at the light. However, in order to get the attention needed to this issue, it had to be done. Sometimes a smaller evil is necessary in order to destroy a larger evil.

When I go through (around 5.15 a.m., sometimes 4.15 a.m. if on overtime) I've seen cops in the BP, both LoBu and NK, sometimes together. I also see them sat in the business lot's to the left (when they are there, they tend to be watching traffic and sometimes give chase, but never seen them chase from the BP).
