@KimmiHensbergen oh yes in the episode many happy returns and the poem was: "there is a moment when i look @ you and no speech is left in me...my tongue breaks then fire races under my skin and i tremble and grow pale for am dying of such love or so it seems to me........after hearing this and seeing the love that xena has for gabrielle i got the inspiration and the courage to fall in love again..........

More than a year ago I discovered this vid on YouTube. But never forgot it.

Even now I still watch it with tears on my cheeks.

When I was little girl, I used to watch Xena every week in TV. Nobody told me "Listen, baby, these girls are lesbian, better don't learn it", probably because my parents didn't watch it with me and they just didn't know what is it about. Now I'm 21 and I like boys and girls as well. I think it is a problem, cause I'm from conservative catholic family (sic!), and its tough for me to create a healthy relationship with a man- I can't stop thinking about girls I meet on my way..Thanks to You,Xena :P

WOW!!! Sappho is one of my favorite poets. She inspired a lot of women to write poetry. Women like Sylvia Plath. Its amazing how little gets lost in translation. She gives the perfect description of a swoon. Which of course is what happens when you watch this vid
