What happens to these foals when they are older? Are they adopted out or do you provide them with long term on going care?

I'm only 14, but I'm planning on starting an organization to stop the cruelty to all animals. ESPECIALLY horses. It makes me want to cry, just knowing while I'm in school getting an education, having a great time, horses are being brutally killed. And that foals are being born to be killed
