@moonsaves I was raised Roman Catholic.. i stopped believing in their practices because they pretty much went against their religion ( worshiping Mary, statues, saints, the pope, etc.) I always believed in God but sometimes i had to question certain things. I then drifted away into looking up dark things and i was pretty much drifting away from God/family/friends.. then something life changing happened to me, I asked God for help and suddenly everything was back to normal.

There was talk of having the bank investigated during the time of John Paul I but he died conveniently before that could happen. The problem inside the Catholic church is the lack of accountability. @moonsaves I was raised Roman Catholic.. i stopped believing in their practices because they pretty much went against their religion ( worshiping Mary, statues, saints, the pope, etc.) I always believed in God but sometimes i had to question certain things. I then drifted away into looking up dark things and i was pretty much drifting away from God/family/friends.. then something life changing happened to me, I asked God for help and suddenly everything was back to normal.

@petruscephas No. On the contrary I've been to the Philippines and have a friend from Madagascar and the reports are that Priests in those countries still commit abuses until this day. In fact in the Philippines its pretty bad with the Priests collaborating with Politicians to get bills that are favorable to their interests passed into law. Back there the Priests are never held accountable when they collaborate with political warlords.

@petruscephas CoDRuLez14 is right. The Catholic church controls its own bank. There was talk of having the bank investigated during the time of John Paul I but he died conveniently before that could happen. The problem inside the Catholic church is the lack of accountability. I went to a Catholic school for one year and whenever you brought up an issue or situation where the church may have been to blame you never get a straight answer.
