That's a really impressive arcade! Look, they have Cruis'n World, and a Virtua Racing, and lots of other classic games. I'd want any newly opened arcade to have this kind of stuff.
Well antisonic, I admit that my camera is rather "meh", but what can be expected from a company which mostly distributes cameras to Walgreens. Thankfully, if you see my flea world follow up videos you might see that the stability has improved
also here are some he didn't mention as not working: Galaga, Hang On, Title Fight (right screen only), Stadium Cross (left screen looks frozen and right screen is off),
figment1988, it looks like the Stadium Cross game that day has one screen that is turned off, but the screen on the left was frozen. Was that the case with that machine that day?
yes. i did make a quick mention, but since this was a rushed thing (along with the fact that someone was playing it) i didn't cover it. but perhaps your question might ensue a follow-up video. of course, getting to Sanford (where this flea market is) is rather long, and i prefer going there when i have plenty of money (for shopping at the used game booths).
close. thing is that there was some games which i mentioned, were shut down at the time, and without them not working, i could only show the cabinet without its attract mode. as for Mad Dog McCree, i have to check before filming since the operators tend to switch from Mad Dog 1 to Mad Dog 2: The Lost Gold from time to time
indeed. that is the stand-alone version of Ms. Pac-Man. not the "Class of '81" version (it's still good, but the continue feature just takes away the replay value that the original version has a lot of)
not only that, but most US arcades have tendencies to oversaturate themselves with racing games and DDR machines (not that there's anything wrong with DDR and it's competitors like Pump It Up and In The Groove). plus most of the arcade games seen here like mortal kombat were games that used to be in various arcades before people started to freak out and started to whine and moan over how video games led to acts of violence like school shootings.
Heh, I live in the Orlando area, and have been to that place many times. It's like an arcade transplanted from the mid 90's. Funniest thing is that finding that place in the flea market always felt like finding one of those hidden passageways in Doom or Wolfenstien :).
to me, running into that arcade for the first time is like entering a staircase in the Legend of Zelda for the NES which has a Moblin saying "It's a secret to everyone!"
oh ok my bad! you see you never had me fooled lol

figment1988 what did you mean when you said the 6-player X-men game is in rare quality?
gutchman84 2 years ago
thing was that there aren't too many of the 6 player cabs in florida
figment1988 2 years ago
actually i would consider Outrunners a sequel to the original Outrun since the gameplay is similar (e.g. the fork in the road)

a follow-up video huh? Like a complete playthrough of the game?

thanks. it's a shame some of the games didn't work which would've been sweet to show like mortal kombat II and Hang-on.

i made a comment about Stadium Cross being broken. The left screen looks frozen and the right screen is off.
