Eve - I need help. Everytime I apply the HD foundation and blend it in wet, after it sets it looks really really cakey. I'm not caking it on...the coverage is really light. It feels really good on my face but I just dont like the appearance of it. I prime my face with your primer - best primer ever! and use the HD foundation. What am I doing wrong? Is my sponge not wet enough? Please help. Thanks.

I've just received my priming moisturizer, dual foundation, dual powder, and salmon concealer. Your customer service was wonderful. I love that you don't use petroleum products in your products but I am distressed to see Aluminum Starch as an ingredient in the Priming Moisturizer. It's the 4th listed so there must be a lot of it. Why? It's so toxic.

you keep saying "wherever you have breakouts use the DARKER COLOR". But then you say you have to put the lighter color on your lower cheeks. Well what are you supposed to do if that chin/lower cheek area is where you break out?

There are 4 variations of the Salmon Cooncealer: Light, Medium, Tan and Dark...it is the best shade to use under the eyes...you just need to find the right one for you.

We only have one Priming Moisturizer...it is great for sensitve, oily or dry skin. As long as a product is grease free, it works for oily skin. You never want to dry out your skin. I used to have oily skin, but when i balanced it out, it got so much better. We do have an wonderful Anti-Shine/Mattifyer which will give you a smooth matt finish...even a tinted one.

How well is this going to work with people who have sever acne scars who are darker in skin tone?

Many products have claimed that they can match perfectly, but they just end up either making you too dark or too pink.

I created my EVE PEARL brand because I have acne scars. I use these products on women of color, with acne scars, raised freckles and discoloration...and it works. I can not speak for other company claims. But we do our best to work with each individual to help make sure they are using everyhting properly and are satisfied.

Last thing: in other videos, I was taught to place the lighter color on your cheeks, forehead and chin and darker color everywhere else. Is this a separate thing for foundations..basically just to even out the skin tone? I was confused since it was opposite of what I learned. Can we do your technique with the foundations and highlight/contour with powders the opposite way?

That is correct. I am reteaching the way we have all been taught how to apply foundation and contour. If you think about it, the upper cheek area is usually where you are going to place your blush, have the breakouts and/or rosacea...why would we want to apply a light color there and then go over it with a dark one? It took me some time to figure that one out too. But just like the Salmon Concealer, we need to retrain our thinking. And it REALLY WORKS!. xo, Eve

Oh yeah the Rosacea can be treated by Intense Pulsed Lights (IPL)... people don't fall for over-the-counter products, medications,etc like Metrogel...will not work!

I would love to learn more about the actual ingredients & why they benefit the skin. I would also like to know how long the ingredients stay potent. IE Because of the type of packaging - being open to the air quite a bit - wouldn't the antioxidants etc loose potency?
