LOL I loved the self destruct conversation. Typical human assumes that anything in Star Trek is the gospel according to start ships. Could you just imagine if they'd given Wesley the self destruct codes? He'd have destroyed the Enterprise half way through the first season because he wasn't allowed on the bridge.
they have to get back to earth with the course, if it was going to moon, the course is different morever, the might not have the coordinate of the moon as it was not occupy by living beings
