I think the two best ppl who redid this song is Kenny Latimore and Chante moore. they did such a beautiful Job singing this song. they made it very nice and soft, romantic and Chante didn't go over board neither did Kenny. But there's nothing like the originals.

She converted to Islam and died under the name of Syreeta Wright Muhammad. Ironically enough she and Billy Preston are both buried in Inglewood Park Cemetery in Inglewood,CA.

Ok, I just listened to the Glee version and it can't touch this version by far! Glee version sounds good but studio tuned up. Billy Preston and Syreeta Wright have voices that are naturely beautiful and they KILLED this song! Major hit. I know that most ear are use to this "Studio" made music but Im from the old skool where people could really sing. RIP to both Syreeta and Billy!

I still remember the exact place I first heard this song in 1979..an army cafeteria in Germany. The hair on the back of my neck stood up and I sat down to listen (they were preparing for dinner and weren't open yet and someone asked me to come back in 30 minutes....). I was 15. No one else has done it as well. Thanks for posting it and the memories..

FYI- Syreeta Wright was Stevie Wonder's first wife. Billy Preston played keyboards for the Beatles and was referred to as "the Fifth Beatle". ... -RIP two wonderful artists.

Ok, I just listened to the Glee version and it can't touch this version by far! Glee version sounds good but studio tuned up. Billy Preston and Syreeta Wright have voices that are naturely beautiful and they KILLED this song! Major hit. I know that most ear are use to this "Studio" made music but Im from the old skool where people could really sing. RIP to both Syreeta and Billy!
