  • 'Harry, press. There are.. there are stories.. stories are breaking'

    'Ruth.'

    'Stories are breaking. Stories are...!'

    'Take a deep breath'

  • It almost sounds like Sarah is saying "Hanny" instead of "honey".... But yeah. She's creepy. o_o

  • A MI5 Intelligence officer must be like Ros.........watch and learn my dears.....Spooks is no romantic serial hence u need Kate Win slate here!!!!!!!

  • Things like looking up the signatory of massive suspect account - not part of the pre-interview prep???

  • that was very interesting!

i found the script and the performance very mature and quite credible.

    thank you for posting it!

  • I am not British nor American, so I am an impartial judge in this one. American accents sound pretty lame even when spoken by Americans, it's not such a big deal.

Sarah is annoying in a million other ways though.

  • i hate the way Sara calls Lucus 'honey' eewww she says it so eerie

  • Sayers cigarettes? What, no Morleys?

  • Her accent is strange because she's Irish so she has difficulty maybe getting the accent right. Already, the irish accent is strong. She tries so hard to hide it. Maybe, she needed more practice. To be honest, it is hard to get another peopleof other countries theor exact accent. That's why her acent is laughable. Maybe for her, it was hard get ou of her comfort zone. .

  • Thank you for posting this. I’ve only just discovered MI5/Spooks as a result of tracking down everything that Richard Armitage is in. I recently saw North and South so now I must see everything he is in.

Sarah’s accent is ridiculous and distracting. As an American, I am appalled that anyone could think that this was a passable American accent. I’ve never heard anything like it in my life. Where are the speech coaches for this show? The other actors playing Americans seemed to do okay.

  • @elainedues1 Hello, i am another North and South fan. I only found it 3 days ago and i am addicted. I just love his accent in it, cannot get enough.

  • Sarah's accent is laughable.. The BBC can afford actors that are American. We hire UK actors all the time.

  • Yeah, but thing is, UK actors will work for less. It'd be nice if they could actually do an American accent, but still....

Or they could hire a Canadian...our accents are quite close to those in Washington state.

  • @zooloops682 Not only will they work for less, but who in the UK is really bothered by a vague "mottled" US accent. Think of the ridiculously ambiguous and waffling UK accents American actors use all the time.

  • Her accent, lol! She starts sounding like Elmer Fudd towards the end - listen!

  • Ros is so awesome. I heard people didn't like her that much before and thought she was a cold hard bitch...whhaaattt??

Kicks ass and takes names - what's not to love?

  • Ros is always full of awesome.

  • @taurigirl Ros is DA BOMB (no pun intended :-)
