@herorocks666 Wes Craven's New Nightmare is definitely one of the best! It's not slow at all and it doesn't "rehash" Nightmare 1, it pays tribute to it. The film was very clever and if you can't see that then you didn't understand the movie at all.

You have bad taste, this movie sucked, not as much as part 5 or part 6 but this is exactly where the series started to go down hill. First big mistake was to recast Kirsten. I mean, Tuesday does a good job but she is not Patricia Arquette and that destroys the whole character interaction. Freddy character is also ruined with all those campy one-liners and puns. This is a horror movie, not a comedy!! The 3rd movie was the best out of all.
