  • Well done Bryan...Never realised you and Billy were best of mates..

  • I love bryan!

  • I have written what i think on the 1st part of this , but i am watching all of of this because it is so very interesting. I am trying to imagine an English rocker being given a live(sic) funeral...Ozzy , Keith Richards , Lemmy , Paul Macca , Jimmy Page , but i just can't see it! Well played to you all for respecting a Rock musician! I wish more people could see the power of music..

  • very nice words Bryan!

  • Woo! Go Bryan.

  • Did Billy Thorpe play at Woodstock?

  • No.

  • no, but he should have!

  • No but played at Sunbury - the Australian equivalent -a very big show.

    A legend in Aust Rock.

One of the best and sad the rest of the world didn't see what we saw.

  • I'm american and I see it and I'm making sure other people see it too!

  • good on you.

  • We loved you too Billy.

  • Thank you for sharing this although I was there the whole experience was surreal. Would love to see it all in full.

I would like to thank Lynn, Rusty and Lauren for sharing Billy with us during the good times, and at a time most private. May God hold you in the palm of His hand forever more.

    Vale Billy 1946-2007.

  • I wish that the entire memorial could be posted on you tube. I enjoyed Brian's comments and felt touched by them. I wish I could have been at the memorial, but was profoundly unwell at the time, and am still in mourning probably due to having missed the actual moment. Billy sounded like the kind of guy that any one of us would love to have met. I often think about how his wife Lynne must be coping. How can you loose someone like that from your life and make sense of it? She was his soul mate.

  • "I wish that the entire memorial could be posted on you tube"...I'm going to put it all up in the new year it does have some very touching moments including tributes from Jack Thompson and Michael Chugg and a clearly 'choked-up' Olivia Newton-John singing "Somewhere Over The Rainbow"...stay tuned.

  • Looking forward ...

  • thank you for putting this on..i have written on the 1st and 5th part..please read! thanks again
