What an asinine piece of reporting. While I am relieved and thankful they made it through this harrowing event--what are they talking about? No explanation for her cardiac arrest? While rare, cardiac arrest is a risk of epidural anesthesia, and clearly tied to it in this case. No anesthesia for the c-section? What? She just got an epidural! I know the epidural is a sacred cow, but like any other anesthesia (and anything else administered through the spine!), there are risks. This is one of them.
