Tony, Dont want to piss on your chips but have you considered the RAF. I'm due to leave the Army after 22years and believe me I cant wait. as long as you got a C in gcse maths and English, it shouldnt be too much trouble :)
as an officer, you need to A levels at grade E or above which is equivalent to 180 UCAS points.

You may be interested to know that the Corps meets en-masse at Twickenham for the Army Navy rugby every year on May 3rd. You can get a general idea of the cammeraderie on a social scale.

Tony, Dont want to piss on your chips but have you considered the RAF. I'm due to leave the Army after 22years and believe me I cant wait. Things are really bad morale wise etc. Get to know people in all the services and find out whats going on. Seriously, think about something else if you got the brains dont try the Army, please!

To me, this sums up being a squaddie. Blokes I served with years ago, I can ring them at 4 in the morning and they still want to talk. And if you get jumped downtown, when you're on your jack and the old bill don't want to know, you just call your mukka's and the QRF rocks up.
