I guess I'm one of those people that waited years before I could drink, and the first night, I got drunk with no hangover. I used to be a metal head until I heard Tom Waits. Now I'm disappointed by everything else because nothing else is as touching as his music.

Don't get me wrong, Tom Waits is an amazing guy, seriously. i love alot of his songs. But, the way the ramones played this number hit me harder than Tom's original. I don't know why. But it did.

I apologise for the idiotic replys from the two of them but i quite agree. His version is raw from how much distortion he puts into both his instruments and his vocals. "The Ramones" version is too clean and fast for my taste, in my opinion, Tom Waits version for me is the one i would prefer.
