  • Eisenhower is one of many examples of how much better our Germans are than your Germans.

  • at 05:15-05:23 are pictures from the Rolyal Hungaryan Airforce

  • 7:14, what is that plane? What it called?

  • I really like this tribute. The german aeronautic engineering was and is the greatest in the world, i think. The gregorian chant on the 2 minuts until the 4:40 minut, who is the autor?was well placed, as I listen I can imagine a dogfight, when Adolf Galland cause terror.

  • @gabriel29692 Adolph Galland was on the losing side!!!!!! thats for sure, the Lufftwaffe lost their bite after the B.O.Britain. as far as aeronautical engineering is concerned? how about the British Spitfire? and not forgetting the heroic Hurricane? they were not infalible this German fallacy of invulnerability! they just had not until this time faced an air force their equal? until Britain!!!

  • @GERMANOPHILE

air force their equal? i dont think so. its true britain had a considerable air force but germany was still way superior.

the only advantage of brits over germans was the "radar". so the brits knew when and from wich direction the germans were coming giving them the time to prepare and meet them. and that didnt fully prevent german bombers to go deep in britain.

so imagine they didnt have the radar...

  • i'm ex army air corps, been shot at more times than i'd like to remember!!I have respect for all flyers!!In helicopters we did not have parachutes,When hit you had to stay with it!!It left me with no fear of anything mortal!!! what a wonderfull tune

  • i'm ex army air corps, been shot at more times than i'd like to remember!!I have respect for all flyers!!In helicopters we did not have parachutes,When hit you had to stay with it!!It left me with no fear of anything mortal!!!

  • The Luftwaffe and its men were magnificent, fighting to the end but the Reichsmarschall Goering was an absolute Versager! Not the slightest idea on how to conduct the airwar or defend Germany.Hence the dreadful losses.

  • absolutely beautiful, may the valkryes take the fallen to valhalla.

  • FUCK OFF FROM ISRAEK AND 3000 YEARS OF OUR HISTORI !!! :)

  • @monruss1 HAHA 3000 year history? with a 2000 year gap? EAT A DICK SHARON!

  • Beginning tune is from the movie Patton. Fw 190 Babyyyyyyeeeee!!!

  • In case anyone's wondering, the music at the beginning is from the movie Patton.

  • i think you re a nazi loving asshole but i di like your choice of music instead of inappriate heavy metal tunes. i ll give you that much

  • @oseanvi6 Asshole jew.......

  • Tannhauser Pilgrims Chorus is very good. Especially if it is in German. Wagner was Hitler's favorite. He was the ideal composer of the Third Reich. And it fits with the elite ideaology.

  • 2:22 is totally Russian music.....

  • I CAN SAY IS GOODDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD JOBBBBBBBBBB!!!!!!!!!!!! WELL DONE!!!!!!!!!!!!! BRAVO!!!!!!!!!!! HIP HIP HURAAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!

  • STUNNING SIMPLY STUNNING!!!!!!!!!

  • Very nice! May I ask what the opening tune is?

  • go luftwaffles! oh sorry luftwaffe! i love their junker bomber plane

  • ahh my favorite pic of the luftwaffe is a group of me109's escorting some ju87's through probly russia or denmark? its early morining low mist the sun hits them just right so buetiful!

then a group of yellow nosed me 109's midday

  • Magnifica colección de fotos, felicidades.

  • Anyone else see the mustang at 4.14?

  • @germaniajim

good eye i didnt even notice that haha!

  • @germaniajim It is normal for it. The Luftwaffe recover down P-51s and used them later to sneak into American bomber formations. It is a lot safer than in a Me109 with the American/British bomber escorts around.

  • @916ppl Now that is something I didnot know,, I thank you for that little tidbit, I guess you do learn something everyday,, but these days , because of my age, for one, I seem to not to be learning as much,, and secondly , probably because there are far more dicks out there who know nothing than smarter guys who share the knowledge they know for something they did not.. Cheers dude.

  • Amazing engineering, outstanding pilots, really crappy leader. Those are some great photos. My favorite WWII airplanes. But I still like to see them in a crumpled, burning heap, shot out of the sky by some American or British pilot just doing his job so he can get the war over and go back home.

  • the nazi cause may have been bad but these were one heck of good air force and a true challenge to shoot down

  • i a shme the most of these planes no longer fly or even existei would be nice to see them

  • this do17 on 00:56 very nice, its from the Croatian airforce (notice the cheakered flag)

    nice vid

  • Great vid 5 stars !! Best air fore in history the Luftwaffe

  • There is no treason in honoring the courage of fallen warriors, even if they were on the wrong side of the fight!

  • Yeah...well the brylcreme boys gave the jerries a jolly sound thrashing when they came sniffing over the white cliffs of dover :)

  • yah.fuck the nazis

  • Some fascinating pics in this video. Thanks for sharing. 5 Stars.

  • if Rexicano wants to talk extinction tell him to look at White Population demographics . I doubt he'll shed a single tear for White Genocide.

  • 88Thyra: Well, look at the past 2 World Wars... The internationalists provoked white folks into slaughtering each other. Then, later one, white women were encouraged to forgo having kids in pursuit of corporate careers. Go figure...

  • Too bad they don't intersperse some photos from the Death Camps here...

so we can see clearly what the Nazis were fighting for.

  • Nazis, yes. But the Wehrmacht were not Nazis.

  • So, the Wehrmacht were on the opposite side of the Nazis?

Sure...They have nothing in common.... except Hitler.

Who are you suggesting the Wehrmacht were fighting for?

    The Jews?

  • I'm suggesting that your assumption that every facet of the German military was A) involved with, B) aware of or C) complicit with Nazi policies is a gross and unfair simplification of the situation within Germany. There's a reason why the SS existed outside the framework of the Wehrmacht and why they were the ones in charge of the camps.

  • Oh right;

the poor Wehrmacht had no clue they were working for a power mad Dictator who ruthlessly invaded other countries.

You're hung up on the divisions by name; they ALL fought for the same guy.

  • Evidently the concept of objectivity and viewing things without hindsight is lost on you. Tell me how a German in the 30s is supposed to feel, the Great War is still fresh in their mind, Versaille still affecting them. Then Hitler comes along, tears down the things holding Germany back, removing unemployment (a huge issue at the time of the Great Depression), gives the workers bread and a decent livelihood. Clearly this man is terrible and a danger to Germany.

  • Well duh.

And look how it ALL ended up...

gee, who wudda thought following a crazy would go so bad.

Such a surprise. Follow evil; pay the price.

Quit being an apologist for Nazis just because you dig the hardware...fool.

  • And at what point have I apologised for the Nazis? Here I was thinking we were talking about the Wehrmacht.

One mans evil is another mans saviour. I fail to see how your knowing what we know now somehow condemns the average Leutnant or Schutze. As the Wehrmacht was the military they answered to and took orders from the person above them who, 99.9% of the time, was not Hitler. And even when he was that was no guarantee that they would follow his orders.

  • I finally looked at your profile;

Yes, you are so wise beyond your 19 years. Not.

Everyone knows what a hands off commander Hitler was. Those poor the average Leutnant or Schutze had no clue they were killing people for a crazed despot. Right.

  • Crazed? You seem to have him confused with someone else. If he was crazed he would have been sectioned. As he wasn't I'm fairly certain he was of sound mind when he made the decisions he did, which is all the worse. That people label him as some kind of mental is more indicative of them merely going along with the opinions of everyone around them than formulating their own.

Despotism also is an irrelevant term, its only bearing on this is in the stigma the term has built up over the years...

  • ... due to its connection with people like Hitler. When viewing it from a more objective, less hind sight-y angle it meant little at the time, many nations were ruled by self-appointed men, such a characteristic was not extraordinary or considered inherently bad.

One must also identify what the Wehrmacht was fighting for and against. First and foremost they were fighting against Versailles, particularly against the territorail concessions seemingly forced upon Germany by that treaty.

  • What they were fighting for was the restoration of lands considered, in some cases not unrightly so, German. At this time the far western areas of Poland held a signficant German population, a leftover from the days of the German Empire. You have to remember that already by the point of war some territories had democratically elected to become German, the most prominent and least controversial of these being the coal mining villages of Saarland.

  • Finally the best piece of evidence I can provide is the findings of the Nuremburg Trials. The trials found that, yes, the Wehrmacht had commited war crimes. But under the definitions of war crimes the Allies had also commited significant numbers of there own so, again, this was not an extraordinary aspect of the war.

Regarding the chain of command Hitler was responsible for the general strategic level planning of the war, the commanders on the ground were responsible for the execution of that

  • plan. Only rarely did Hitler provide specific instructions to his commanders and these were not necessarily carried out. The best example of this is the so-called "Commando Order" to kill any Allied Commandos encountered by German forces, which Field Marshal Rommel promptly ignored though others didn't. It is inaccurate to lay a blanket assumption over the entire armed forces, such assumptions are never true.

  • I'm 19, well done, evidence that you can read at least. I was beginning to doubt if you could considering you were ignoring everything that's been said. Age is irrelevant if someone has the facts and pointing that out merely serves more of an indication of yourself than of me. It clearly says that you haven't got a clue how to argue back and that you are grasping for straws. The next tactic on youtube is to get pissy and start swearing.

  • Right; Hitler was quite sane. Rounding up Jews and dissidents for Mass Extinction is fine with you.

At 19 you've been an adult for a whole year almost.

But you think like a child...trying to defend the German war machine. Love to see you try and sell that to some WWII Vets.

  • Yes, because only insane people do bad things. Makes perfect sense. Besides what Allied propaganda tried to portray he was not insane, he did not sit in a corner half the time flinging shit at the walls and screaming about jews. Clearly your definition of mental health issues is not concurrent with the rest of the planet's. If he had been insane then he would have been sectioned or something, as he wasn't I think it's safe to assume he was quite sane.

It's clearly childish of me to attempt...

  • Oh yes, quite sane to lock up Jewish children and gas them.

    I bet you're a Holocaust denier too.

Like to see your opinion if you were in one of Hitler's little Summer Camps.

So; wiping out millions of people just because they are Jewish...not crazy at all!

  • ... are still wrong. As stated, no one lets a nutjob run their country, not even desperate German nationalists.

  • You sound just like your hero Hitler.

Too bad you can't just goose step around the Holocaust.

I guess I'm right; you approve of dead Jews.

So much for you being "an adult".

Just listen to the heroic music and get all misty over the warplanes...pathetic fool.

You love war so much...when are you signing up?

Oh right; it's all abstract theory to you.

  • If you would please point me to the time I mentioned any aircraft or the music that would be appreciated. Up until that point it would be good of you to try to drop your conceited attitude to this.

Let's see, how about I point out that by the laws of your country an insane person is not responsible for his actions. Thus by your definition Hitler was not responsible for the holocaust. I've not said anything positive about Hitler but here you are disavowing him of what he did. I bet you're a

  • ... holocaust denier!

  • ... to achieve a broader idea of the conflict than "all germans are anti-semitic nutters". Clearly making blanket statements that resound with the very basic ideas of the man trumpeted by propaganda (for that is all that kind of stuff is) is the adult approach to things. You stick to your simpletons idea of the world and leave us grown ups to discuss the important things, ok?

  • May I ask Rexicano, do you:

    A) Vote Republican

    B) Come from the South of the US

    C) Have a high school diploma

    D) Understand what Briefmortal is even saying?

As your posts make you sound like a total idiot and about 11 years old. Making personal insults because you do not have enough knowledge to properly dispute what he is saying. It is like saying because some small etreme segments of Islam commit acts of Terror that all Muslims are terrorists, but no doubt you think that....Idiot....

  • AaronH229: Ignore Rexicano. He/she is probably just a shill. Just ignore him/her.

  • where is a single SCRAP of evidence directly linking Hitler to your Holocau$t

  • The roughest ride had to be the German Komet. Wild Ride fer sure, if it did not blow up while being fueled.

  • Wow, I have never seen so many great pictures of these WWII planes. Beautiful design and lines.

Great music, except for the 1812 overture does not quite fit...

  • The jews always will being jews. They never stop of cry like the babys they are...

  • This is a great video. Thanks Flashbangkenny

  • I love the camo scheme on that Bf109 at 2:25

  • It was German that started the war by invading Poland and the Luftwaffe bombed Polish cities killing thousands civilians. On 25 September 1939 Luftwaffe flew 1,150 sorties dropping 560 tons of high explosives and 72 tons of incendiaries over Warsaw killing more than 40,000 civilians. They bombed Rotterdam killing over 1000 civilians. Luftwaffe bombed London, Southampton, Brighton, Birmingham and Bristol, killing more than 22,000 civilians in three months, nothing to be proud of.

  • The AngloAmerican became infamous mostly for targeting and killing civilians

    after end war bombing Dresda..

no comment for ignominia Nagazaki and

    Hiroshima no escuse for that..

The Germans soldiers LuftWaffe and U.Boat was greatest.

  • A lot of people are infamous for being STUPID........

  • The Luftwaffe became infamous mostly for targeting and killing civilians.

After bombing Poland, Holland, Belgium and France cities killing thousands civilians, they started in 1940 bombing London, Coventry and other cities in a "blitz" for 57 consecutive nights, which was followed by intermittent raids until April 1941.

Despite outnumbered the RAF lost about 900 planes while the Luftwaffe lost about 2,300 during the battle of Britain. Luftwaffe Casulaties, 1939-1945: 485,000

  • Again, moron comments from Bumpa25. The Luftwaffe was a tactical airforce, which only attacked a city, LIKE WARSAW OR ROTTERDAM, if it had ENEMY SOLDIERS FIGHTING IN IT.

Read your history you nincompoop. Although, based on your comments, reading won't convince you of anything, since you'll just keep believing what you want to.

  • The duty of any country's soldiers is to defend their country and their cities against enemy's attacks.

Did any other country threaten to invade or destroy Germany before the war? No.

So, the germans were the invaders, the were the occupants, they were those who started the war killing civilians. This is the historical fact! Nothing to be proud of.

  • @bumpa25 Britain and France did more then the german peaple to put the nazis in power ,by giving hitler Czeckoslovakia when he was to weak to start a war and the opposition were strong enough to move against him.

  • i never once said that that nazi german actions were all angelic.. and YES im glad they were taken down, because of the damage they caused, however, always remember the soviets caused just as many atociocities against 'traitors' and theyre enemies.

yeah they attacked neutral contries.. tey were conquerers, what do you expect...

but. inote this, you can swear all you like, it doesnt faze me at all, so if you wanna criticise be civil about it.

  • to those who say all nazi officers were murdering thugs obviosly have NEVER known about the desert fox erwin rommel, and.. he is quite frankly my FAVORITE commander of the 20th century. this is over patton, and montgomery,

my opinion of the nazi soldiers, remember they were promised and persuaded they were fighting to exandthe german homeland, so that the german people would NEVER have problems with overcrowding, or a lack of resources. i can not falt them for wanting that in principle.

  • i fully agree with your comment mate, not all germans were nazis but this is what happens when people watch hollywood movies (stereotypical pushy, bullying krauts who are usually useless when faced by the good guys see where eagles dare and other type films of this genre to see my point) or history books that look at the war from one side. yes what some of them did was dispicable such as the death camps . i would also bet that not every allied soldier played by the rules

  • also, murdering krats or not... one cant denythat the luftwaffe was probably th most dangerous air force in the world at the time. had the germans continued for a year or 2 with any sort of strength the aircraft they would have released would have blown the allies out of the air.

btw this is coming from a greek-aussie, with grandparents who lived through nazi occupation.

and no, the allies did many nasty acts in war as well, just not on such a grand scale.. we did get the worst of it though

  • for those who dont know who Erwin rommel was, he was the principle commander of he afrika corp in libya and egypt, sent to assist the italians. he made some sweeping amazing victories. but, he couldnt beat the rats of tobruk, the anzacs, he was finally defeated by british general mongomery in the battle of el-alamain

when he wen back to europe. one thing he did was, somehow capturing, justhim the driver and like 1~2 soldiers in he back, a whole column of men in trucks out of sheer surprise

  • hey assfag.-whats that got to do with backstabbing and invading nuetral countries like Denemark, Norway etc,..... and epic cockblocking of Poland and Finland? gtfoh

  • Nice video !!!!

  • Nice tribute to the Luftwaffe.

I've seen alot of these photos in books, but some are new to me at least.

What is that float plane at 02:12? Seen gun camera film of them getting blasted on the water by Mustangs / Thunderbolts.

    Nice work and good post.

  • thanks i really appreciate it and have blocked the users from commenting that kept ranting. i think you would really like my other slides if you liked this one. my hardest deal is finding good general music that everyone can enjoy for my next slides. ive got enough pics but not enough music. if anyone can think of some good classical or orchestral music id really aprecciate it.

    Flash

  • Wow it's gone all quiet LOL.

  • Comment removed

  • You could try Wagner's Parzifal Overture, Siegfrieds Funeral March or the end of Gotterdammerung, these are pretty solemn. Also, Nessun Dorma by Puccini.

  • It´s a Heikel He-115

  • It's actually a Dornier Do.24. The Heinkel 115 was only a twin-engine with two large floats. The Do.24 was a fully fledged flying boat as can be seen in the video.

  • The aircaft at 02:12 is a He 115. The Do 24 is shown at 01:15.

  • Sorry, got them the wrong way round. It happens, but my description of the aircraft was correct at least. Hehe!

  • Heinkel he 115

  • WTF!!!!! JollyRodders and fucK0islAm0666. Apologise to flashbangkenny123 for hijacking his comments section with your childish diatribe. If you can't comment on his slideshow FUCK OFF somewhere else to spout your rubbish. Pair of dumbasses.

  • Poor decisions at the very top from The Battle Of Britain to the delay of the Me 262 fighter made sure the Luftwaffe was hampered in it's fight.

But then poor military decisions were made across the board by German leaders who thought they were General material. I never forget the glum look of the real Generals when Hitler made a speech declaring war on that far off land - The USA.

  • 05:14--05:23

On two pictures are this planes with white cross Bf-109 Ga*-2 /V.7+51 -- V.7+58**/ of "Magyar Királyi Honvéd Légierő" - Royal Hungarian Air Force.

*a - ausland, foreign; made in Hungary /Győr/.

    ** a) V - vadász, fighter; b) from V.7+59 Bf-109 Ga-4 or Ga-6

  • awsome video ty for posting

    towdak2

  • While I tend to agree that ultimately may have been the outcome, but it wouldn't have mattered. The United States would have battled with National Socialist Germany or the USSR. It was unavoidable. Secondly, either system of Socialism would have met the same fate and gone the way of the do-do. Republic governed nations and socialist governments are in direct with conflict.

  • Let me also add that there is a strong chance the United States never would have become involved if it were not for the ambition of the Imperial Japanese govt. Most Americans were "isolationists". Although they looked on Germany and the NSDAP with suspicion, Americans overwhelmingly didn't want to be involved. We were well aware of what was happening to the German and Jews of occupied Poland, Western Russia, etc. We didn't enter the war to "liberate" anyone in all actuality. It's complex.

  • "We were well aware of what was happening to the German and Jews of occupied Poland, Western Russia, etc. "

Very few regular Americans knew what was going on. Yes, many in the Government knew, but, they considered it best to make priority that we end the war, as this would achieve all our goals in one hit.

"We didn't enter the war to "liberate" anyone in all actuality. It's complex."

Yeah it is complex, but of course we were trying to liberate the Nations of Europe.

  • Mr 0666 is plainly a troll.

Nobody knew quite the extent of what was happening in Nazi occupied territory, either the Einsatzgruppen or the Death Camps. US servicemen began to discover this in 1945. The reasons for US gov. entering the war were political and about Europe, but public support was difficult until Pearl. Isolationism was Wilson's policy over Versailles which he balked. It wasn't FDR's policy.

The US already well into Japanese affairs by Treaty Ports and threats; Pearl no surprise.

  • My response, pt. 2-

primarily the P-51,l some P-38s, Spitfires, and a few others. Other Luft fighters were shot down by the defensive battery of the B-17s, B-24s, and so on, which were heavily armed, even though only marginally effective against the Bf 109s, 190s, and ultimately the 262s.

Short answer- at the end of the day, I would imagine that YES, the Royal forces did down my German aircraft than did thier American and Russian counterparts.

  • Fire-

Not sure. The question would be most aptly answered after looking at the total Luftwaffe losses during operation "Sea Lion", or what most people refer to as the "Battle of Britain". The UK was at war with Germany much before the United States entered. Don't forget, it was Hitler who declared war on the United States, not the other way around.

The 8th Airforce of the USAAF focused primarily on Day/Night bombing raids. Most Luft. fighters were shot down by bomber escorts

    ..ctd

  • Why the background music of the old Russia?

  • A fantastic tribute to the Luftwaffe, well done.Another one soon yes?

  • to bigbob6556 and any others that think the same way...

They fought and died for what they believed in just as the solders from the allied side did. so its only right that they are remembered. perhaps it will keep wars like this from happening again.

  • what??? "they fought and dies for what they belived in" what wolrd domination? is that exeptable lol stupid suck up lucky the krauts even get a tribute, the allies were fighing for freedom the kruts were fighting for world domination

  • Well, yeah BUT, in no way am I saying what they did was in anyway acceptable. having blind faith in one madman sorta makes you lose sight of whats real...And most people are burying the history and this is one of those things that keeps people talking about it. so in a way this is good.

  • Oh and I just want to add that not all Germans was in the war, there was a LOT of them that wanted out...Oh and "Hitler" wasn't even German!

  • The allies were fighting for freedom?? In case you don´t know the Soviet Union killed more people in the occupied countries than the Germans did.

The western allies didn´t care too much about the freedom of all the countries east of Germany, did they? The ones they "liberated" delivering them to communism, to be enslaved and sent to concentration camps by millions. But who cares.. communists can do whatever they want right? They are always the good ones.

  • yes i do agree sorry for my poor choice of words, i meant to say that england, america and canada were fighting for freedom but russia were far worst than germany, they were fighting for revenge and that was not right

  • Great Video. If you or any body is really into this stuff check out my Video I think you will like it. Great Job. Take care. V V

  • how can u honor those krauts?

  • The ends however would have still been the same. Resources, resources, resources. A confligration of attrition like that of the 2nd world war was markedly decided by those with the industrial, technilogical, and human resources. The Germans were stretched entirely too thin, as were the Japanese. Too small a nation, too few a soldier, too little raw material whether it be '39 or '44.

  • However, contemporary historical evidence and analysis suggests that the Germans would have had success with Sealion if the bombardment had continued at a sustained rate for another 72-96 hours. Occupation would have presented challenges though as resources were stretched rather thin accross the German front(s). If the OKL was successful, the opening of the 2nd front would have been much more challenging for the allies and would not have taken place in '44.

  • Firefab is right. The United States DID contribute to the effort via industrial channels at the time, however, directly the USA had very very little involvement durinig operation Sealion. There were a few yank pilots flying sorties covertly with the RAF, but that's about it.

  • tisoy 909 ur a stupid shit the battle of britian was fought by british pilots and british planes and we beat the luftwaffe ourself thanks ur lazy usaf did jack shit and they were the shittest airforce in the war they wouldnt of helped us anyway u ignorint stupid wanker

  • the USAF and america SAVED britain from complete defeat, we did help in the battle of britain! millions of tons of supplies were shipped to britain, if we had done nothin britain would have had shortages on almost everything, also the americans deystroyed more planes than the british did haha O and also just to remind you we won the revolutionary war haha :)

  • brittish fighters destyoyed more german aircraft than the us and ussr together

  • did british fighters destroy more german planes than us and ussr??

  • brittish fighters did destroy more fighters. thou the soviet aa defence destroyed more german aircraft than the brittish a lot more acctually

  • ohh thank you for the facts!

  • glad i could help

  • and just to fill in some gaps. most of the planes shot down by the soviet aa was bombers and ground attack planes, almost all such planes was fighting on the eastern front. the fighters was used to fight enemy planes and was rarly fighting over enemy terretory so most fighters was shoot down by planes and not by aa batteries. so the brittish destoyed most fighters but only a small amount of the bombers and ground attack planes.

  • I believe the wehrmacht would have had a very difficult time occupying the UK, very much like the difficulty sustained when they tried to occupy Stalingrad, or like the US difficulty occupying Baghdad in present time. The volume Heer forces on the ground required to occupy the UK would have been a tremendous strain on the OKH. Unlike Norway, and some Eastern European nations who essentially were happy the Germans occupied thier nations, the UK would likely have fought the occupiers.

  • German tried to invade during Operation Sealion, of course commencing the attack with heavy pounding of London with the Luftwaffe. The UK put up a valliant fight and thier spitfire pilots kept the Germans at bay. After suffering sever losses, the German High Command abandoned thier attempt, and folled up with attacks from the V1 rockets. Most historians however belive, if the Luftwaffe continued thier bombardment of London for another few weeks, the UK would have eventually fell to Germany.

  • For those interested in the musics, the first is "Tora! Tora! Tora!" from Patton-movie soundtrack.

Second music is Thaicovsky's 1812 Overture

  • I appreciate it Kulhfurst. I knew that the first song was from Patton, I own the vinyl album and the CD and that track is not on it except one called "german advance" It sounded nothing like the song here. Too much violin screeching in the movie soundtrack. Thank you for letting us know.

  • No problem ;)

  • Germany could not physically invade Britan, so they did their best to bring it into submission by bombings and the V1 and v2 rockets. And,thet wanted to accomplish that before the United states could enter the war.

  • Gunther Rall, the last living big-shot Luftwaffe ace and RK winner. I belive Erich Hartmann died last and prior to his death Adolf Galland passed away. If you're a luftwaffe fan, read up on these guys.

  • ok... I'm NOT going to read the miriad of comments to this Vid nor comment on them. After glazing the first 3, it becomes immediately apparent that they are degenerating to 'we had the best, we were the best'. Yadda yadda yadda. It never ends. Kudos to the author - flashbangkenny123 - for capturing some of the nostalgia of the 30's and 40's. Much appreciated, as my parents were children on the 'losing' side & don't talk about it much. Great aircraft, dud leader. Well presented piece. And PEACE.

  • luftwafe was a good airforce but the RAF was better. i wonder if there is a video named honoring the raf ..?

  • no because the RAF sucks, they needed the help of your daddy United states Army Air Force to beat the Luftwaffe, but thats alright lookup the videos honoring the USAF and you can have some of the credit if that makes you feel better.

  • Remind us all tisoy909, where the USAF was in 1940 during the Battle of Britain. Suggest you stick to your video games laddie, you obviously know bugger all about WW2! Stupid ignorant little wanker!

  • its funny how proud the limeys are of the Battle of Britain. As if they were actually facing an invasion. It was pure bluff. The wehrmacht had no amphibious capability. They had only river barges. They could take Norway only by surprise. Even the "Battle of Britain" was just a bluff. Once Britain did not surrender easily, Hitler moved off to his real opponent, Stalin. Tisoy is simplistic, but in effect right. The only purpose Britain played in defeating Germany was to bring the USA into the war.

  • The "limeys" have every reason to be proud of the Battle of Britain jdoernt, as I am proud of my late father who flew in it. Must be nice to sit on your fat arse now saying it was only "Pure bluff", isn't hindsight a wonderful luxury for the keyboard warriors of this world. How the fuck would you know what would have happened, any more than little simplistic tisoy? Where exactly would the USAF have been flying from if the RAF had failed,Bloody Greenland?

  • well they certainly have a reason to be proud, they fought well. They also refused to surrender, when they had no real reason to continue to fight and potentially lose their empire. But modern

"Brits" overplay their hand when they actually think their island was under threat of invasion. The FACTS of history are clear, there was NO WAY the wehrmacht could invade Britain. UNLESS magically, they obtained Landing Craft, and magically, the Royal Navy ceased to exist. The air war was simply a bluff!

  • "The air war was simply a bluff" Oh dear! I wish someone had taken the trouble to tell my old man and his RAF mates. They could have all stayed in bed in the morning sipping tea and reading the newspapers, instead of dashing about the sky trying to stop German bombers dropping their "we're only bluffing" bombs on British cities.

  • does anyone recognize the first music in this slide?

  • you lost get over it

  • you won get over it

  • buen video camaradas.

  • exelent

  • Hey the war is over, people are free to speak their mind, this is posted on you tube not in your house, now go back to jerking off to glorified losers

  • Interesting how roles have changed.

Germans are engaged in peaceful activities, and The americans are hell bent on f**king over every country that disagrees with them.

Nazi's had Hitler, The yanks have "Bush".

  • how are we fucking over iraq? free elections womens rights true faction debate, and removing a dictator who thumb his nose at the UN 21 times, you really should learn history the two are nothing alike

  • You have to understand the level of anti-american propaganda out there in the world today. I live in Berlin and see it all over the place. Its almost as if the entire world turned into a bunch of Oliver Stones. They'll believe anything, including the 9-11 was orchestrated by Bush himself. They foam at the mouth when you try and explain to them that the USA actually tries to do good in the world. They have to hate some big monolithic enemy, and the Soviet Union is done so...

  • well said, I do understand the "the ugly American" with that said peace to all

  • Thanks for the video, very nice compilation!

    Greatest airforce ever! (personal view)

...too bad it was led by a total idiot Herman Goering big fat looser (ok ill comment no further).

  • When gloryfying the war machine and it's technical progress, one might should think that it is easy if you have nearly unlimited humans and money at your disposal.

  • die technik ist grandios umgesetzt und die organisation war einmalig trotz des kranken ideals: respekt den piloten und entwicklern!

  • well ... war is another thing like a superbowl

you should show respect to every man who stysed on the "field of honor" as we say in germany - even wehn it was for such a horrible system with this cruelty - every lost live whose ever it was is a wasted one

  • not a fair comparison. in a game you have two equal opponents in ww2 you had germany runing over poland, and such a tactic which I personally don't respect, but if someone wants to glorify hitler's henchman knock yourself out

  • if you think i wanted to glorify them you didn't understand me very well - i hate nazis - i only wanted to say that everyone who died should be remembered - whoever he was - maybe as a mark to show what can happen to this world

  • I would agree with that

  • --To DannyMNL--

    Oooo you'd better stop dreaming...

  • I am happy that we won the war, but i have to admit i loved what the luftwaffe did.

  • In a war, nobody wins ;-)

  • Oh, "julnjohn," would that would be the blitzkreig invasion of Poland? Or perhaps sinking unarmed freighters crewed by civilians? Or bombing civilian Britons and their homes and businesses? Perhaps strafing refuges running from invaders? Gee, I wish you could have been there to enjoy those things first hand.
