Uriah Heep is where Lee kerslake & Bob Daisly came from & did get screwed but that was also bad business from Sharon. She is a tough customer who wanted,got & kept the Oz train rolling for all of us to enjoy so shut up, forget the vitriol & enjoy the tunes!

My god is this what the original version sounded like now I see why the rerecorded version only has like 2 stars on amazon. This is so much better it is staggering. I liked the rereleased but damn I don't think I can hear it again because this is so much better, now I have to go buy the original album.

By the way, when I first heard the song "Believer" it gave me chills down my spine, it is on the sequel to this album for those who are hearing this for the first time. Blizzard of Ozz and Diary of a Madman rock for ever in my book. I am not that old but ten years ago is when i got introduced to hard rock and metal. this kind of stuff still seems magical to me.

sometimes it's like shraon and ozzy don't care about the fans emotions or attachment to these classic albums - the re-recording, the horrible artwork. like we don't know the difference? i'm so happy i have Diary and Blizzard on vinyl and CD, safe at home where sharon osbourne can't fuck with them.

Bob Daisley and Lee Kerslake? thank you for brilliant, timeless performances along side our beloved Randy and a young Ozzy! you are the ones who helped make these albums classic.

@MrBrownstone1996 don't ever listen to the 2002 version of diary of a madman. it sucks ass. i have the cd, unfortunately. the 2002 remaster of no more tears sounds good but blizzard of ozz, diary of a madman and bark at the moon all sound terrible on the 2002 remaster.

honestly, it's a bit difficult to determine the original from the rerecorded version until you compare the harmony part in this to the 2002 one

Listen to the drums closely, especially the cymbals. They sound noticably different.

Also, the fills sound really, really clumsy.
