  • This will sound bad, but if you take away the war and the halocaust, hitler wasnt a bad leader by a long shot. Even time magazine's man of the year in 1936 or something. Or at least that last part was what my teacher told me.

  • now i just feel un-american, cuz i heard "God Save the Queen" being played at the end :P

  • lots of double and triple "V's" in morse code being thrown around. dit dit dit dah.

Love the end "freedom from want"?

  • haha, midway through the episode, they dont even show donald anymore

  • I don't know what's so creepy about this.

I found this to be highly educational and very interesting.

  • WTF!!!!!

  • @jultomtemor You know whites are just a skin tone right, their not superior to other races. Having other races can enrich and diversify a culture.

  • Propaganda can be used for good, if used properly that is.

  • GUUUUNNNSSSSS!!!!11!!!11!

  • I am german and happy everytime when I see Nazis get their asses kicked :3

  • @Gamemasternumberone Good! Even though germans have their dark spot in history, They've done alot of good too.

  • @TheVaporeonrules234 Yep, Germans did good things, Nazis not. And if there is something good for us left, it was not good back then.

  • And almost 70 years later, the National Defense Act is passed in senate.

    Democracy indeed

  • This is really creepy

  • Yeah guys, lets all pay our taxes so we can waste it all on someone else's civil war that we want nothing to do with

  • I know its just a cartoon, but these disney propaganda things are kinda creepy.

  • The rage and tears of libertarians makes me hard.

  • We should make new videos like these today in day to encourage the rich Americans to pay their taxes and make the folks on food stamps and public assistance take a reduction in benefits. Shit the rest of us have been doing so since 2009 making $93000 a year!!!!

  • @ReyBukanas you make 93k a year? why don't you live cheaper then and quit bitching.

  • @ReyBukanas also, thanks tho for paying so i can earn that refund every year :D

  • I love when Donald Duck's split personalities fight with each other. Lol!

  • Then Milton Friedman came up with payroll deDUCKtion and the problem was solved, for the State.

For us, it means we get to fund war forever more.

  • just goes to show propaganda can be positive

  • fuck taxes if it was for the war they shouldve thought of doing it for their own causes instead waiting for green paper to be donated just to make the happening.

  • why beethoven's fifth?

  • 4:37 taxes to save the axis? 4:50 taxes to be to earth the evil destroyer of freedom and peace?

  • @khoham taxes to sink the axis and taxes to beat to earth the evil destroyer of freedom and peace

  • @iamaaddkid That's what it sounded like to me and it could be confused with what it actually meant.

  • taxes to defeat the axis!

  • give unto ceasar..

  • For freedom of worship.... In modern America, fundi Christian such as phelps are permited, Christian churches are welcome as are Jewish synagoges, however, the predomonantly peaceful and wonderful members of Muslim faith find derision and hatred everywhere..... Much as I did as a roman catholic in the 1980s, I was a child then, and that experience taught me:all religions are equal...

  • If only I had seen this as a kid, I might have become a financially responsible adult..... ......... Well..... .... Maybe.....

  • "Spend for the Axis or save for taxes?" That's a false choice.

The Nazis and the Income Tax - both are creations of the banksters.

  • this cartoon was crazy, but i would be lying if i didnt cheer when i saw donald punching the hitler duck

  • Abolish The Income Tax!

You have the right to keep the fruits of your labor! The IRS is Unconstitutional! Elect RON PAUL for President 2012!!! We The People can take our Republic back!!

  • dénle una caricia delicada a ésta

  • I'd almost feel better if we were in WWIII and my taxes were going to actual useful military expenses. Which reminds me of something I read once. "It'll be a good day in America when schools get the money they need and the military has to hold bake sales." But, Pro-America anyway! *waves a flag*

  • Disgusting, look how bad the propaganda lies are even back then.

  • Amazing isn't it? American government expecting the public to pay taxes to support the world war against Hitler, not like the last thirty years where our government has refused to raise taxes to pay for Vietnam, Grenada, Panama, Gulf War, I...raq and Afghanistan wars. Millionaires and those with oodles of money were expected to pay more, because they had more, up to 90% to save the world from fascism. What were they thinking? Oh, they were thinking!

  • @debssoc Hell yeah. The Pubs and Tea party would rather fire every teacher cop and fireman, bring every soldier home, steal every pension, end Social Security and stop all innovation than raise taxes on the top 1% because they'll flee to China or The Moon because "there's less taxes there," when they would have to change citizenship because they're still Americans. And if they ever did, then they would know the TRUE meaning of high taxes because we have the lowest in the world.

  • Now we give all the tax breaks to corporations and the super wealthy, fight wars on Chinese credit and expect it to come out of the hide of the working poor, retirees, our children and middle class. What were they thinking? FDR where are you when we need you? Like no taxes, regulations, liberal government, you Ayn Rand laissez-faire (pronounced lazy fairy) welfare queens Somalia is waiting for you. Ideal libertarian paradise!

  • this cartoon is a liberal's wet dream.... there isn't a tax they don't love!!!

  • @shroomingnewman whait what????? last i checked the libelars hated taxes. only tax that they think shuld rise is taxin of corporations, and i agree. the growth that corporations do with tax exemptions is not coming back to us. its going to the next boat that they need for the holiday.

  • This is just so embarrassing. As a kid I enjoyed Donald Duck and his pals -- what a shame to see them co-opted by the parasites.

I'll bet at least some of the producers of this drivel woke up later in their lives thinking "Holy crap! What was I thinking? If only I could go back and tell them to stick their hypocrisy and lies." But of course by then it was too late.

The apologists for taxation and other evils had their own sense of fair play destroyed when they were too young to resist.

  • Democrats....stealing your money since 1913

  • This is dick chainy's favorite cartoon!!

  • No taxes before 1913 maybe but your kids died of measles

  • Taxes are a nesesery evil. the US has rediculusly low taxes compared to the western world, and now look what happened. taxes are the price of civilization, they have been for thousands of years, and there's a reason only city states have very low taxes, because a large country can not sustain itself with low ones. The US is a perfect example of how low taxes are not a good thing. Look a Europe, they have high taxes, yet the bottom 75% happier and live better then the bottom 75% of Americans.

  • @dave19941000 please move to Cuba, consider that this year you will work aprox 100 days to day pay your tax bill. thank the founders we do not live in a democracy.

  • @dbrahosky I dont even live in the US, I live in a country that has more social programes, yet has similar taxes (3% higher on avarage) and has a total deat (federal, provincial and municipal combined) thats still per person lower then the federal deat of the US.

  • @dave19941000 wait for it, sooner or later you run out of other peoples money.

  • @dbrahosky We dont use other peoples money, unlike the US we changed how we use our money after the great depretion, why do you think none of our banks needed a bailout.

  • @dave19941000

Which country is that??? Iceland, Greece, Ireland needed a bailout, using their own form of TARP money. The Euros is all completely unstable and as soon as the dollar goes broke, every other country goes down with the states.

  • @b07rivera The country is Canada, the one that has less total dept (Federal, Provincial and Municipal combined) per Capita then the US Federal Dept per Capita.

  • Taxes to bury the axis LMAO who fell for this??

  • @fruitcake0anon Would you prefer 'taxes to save the Brits' asses'?

  • @emerpus01 No, but thank you for asking. Have some tea.

  • well well well, what do we have here 2:07

  • It sure ain't our money that run the factories anymore! >:( Now all it does is go to the politicians stupid, unnecsesary programs!

    Screw the income tax!

    Ron Paul 2012!

  • Wow, this propaganda taught me to not question our policies and pay taxes even for wars I do not believe in. Go Go Democracy!

  • Hitler in a zoot suit! lol

  • There's something...vaguely disturbing about this.

  • fucking funny

  • Hitler wants you to have fun?

  • I want to pay my taxes now....

  • wat is Donald doin home wen he should be on Normandy or iwo Jima

  • dont get propaganda this good anymore

  • I love how it says die die in the beginning when the whistle is blowing xD wow america sucks balls xD

  • @JackalLink It says "Pay day" on repeat. Not "die die die".

  • so the best way is not to give birth anymore so your child will be saved from paying the taxes of corrupt governments

  • @cubjac yeah, i mean the gov encourage child making just so they can milk u of every penny.

Money wealth>humanity prospering (ideal though's of politicians)

  • this is disturbing in so many ways.

  • Before 1913 you kept 100% of your paycheck!

  • @bradleyandassociates -Ah, yes, and freedom from want is too Communist for our modern thinking, me-first public.

  • @bradleyandassociates as it schould be ^^

  • @bradleyandassociates now all it goes to the corporate leaders who need their next bonus or they get sad.

  • @bradleyandassociates in denmark we keep 52 % in average

  • @bradleyandassociates

Okay, alright, I'll pay. Just keep Skynet from building that tank at 4:49.

  • @bradleyandassociates

Yeah! And everyone lived in blissful anarchy and bathed in milk and honey. Srsly, I saw it on duck tales! :D

  • Taxes were optional?

  • @sirmadness technically they still are since there is nothing in the constitution that says we have to pay it

  • @sirmadness Yes mate only some government workers paid income tax. In fact it is still not a legal requirement to do your tax return in the US. If you don’t believe that just ask for a copy of the law that states you must as a US citizen fill in and submit a tax return. You will get regulations quoted but no law.

  • @sirmadness

Yea we use to be free....

  • Wow, remember when paying your taxes was patriotic? Too bad all the white trash wal mart tea party whores could care less about their country.

  • Pay that tax!

  • i had this on vhs... you may not notice it now, but the part starting at about 2:50 is frightening for a child. the machines are all anthropomorphized with whirling arms, and the glowing iron block coming out of a glowing metalic face with eyes, nose and mouth. this shit was scaaaaaary.

  • jesus christ this is just as bad as soviet and nazi propaganda..

also it sounds a bit like charlton heston

  • @MessiHazza hehe, especially at 3:05 :)

  • this is disturbing....

  • When you shoud pay taxes gladly and proudly.

    HA HA HA, that's rich!

  • now see this couldn't be played now

  • Just kind of an interesting motive Id point out for those who didn't see it.

At 2:30 where they first play the beginning of Beethoven's 5th symphony. That rhythmic pattern, short short short long is actually morse code for V, as is visually illustrated.

Back in world war II, V was used as shorthand for victory. A little ironic given that Beethoven was German, but a kickass motive none the less.

  • SAVE FOR TAXES! YES!!!!

  • i love this video

  • I have this on VHS

  • I love this video!!

  • this Was so me in saving money right when i get it i spend it not saving any not any more!!!

  • So what was bad in "Der Fuhrer's Face" is suddenly good...

  • "Guns. Guns! All kinds of guns!!!

  • Scots are cheap and Cockney people are money wasters?

  • :17 Anyone else think it sounds like Homer Simpson in the background?

  • Lol, Donald Duck is always the one that always gets put in propaganda.

  • The 1940's propaganda looks so silly, doesn't it? It sure would not work nowadays.

Still, it makes one wonder whether there could be some subtle propaganda going on these days. Pro-war propaganda? Pro-tax propaganda? Pro-austerity propaganda? Which insidious form would it take? Have "we the people" grown smarter?

    Love,

  • @DanUuNoel Don't be too sure. Faux "News" ain't exactly subtle but morons still believe it. Still, there's plenty of subtle propaganda these days, as well as some pretty crafty ways of ingraining patriotism into kids (having to say the pledge of allegiance every day at school, between the name and the contents it's 100% propaganda).

  • "This is our fight for freedom" Now hand over your private property, slave.

  • god bless america :)

  • germans strted 2 wars and lost both retards

  • @Mrlookmyfinger YOU retard, a serbian nationalist sparked the war when he assassinated austrian leader Franz Ferdinand. gets your facts straight. It was Britain who declared war first so they virtually started the war.

  • 3:10 GUNS GUNS GUNS hell yeah

  • Taxes during WWII reached as high as 90%. Can you believe that? What a crock of shit.

Everyone should read "War is a Racket" by General Smedley D. Butler.

  • @jpschubbs Taxes were at 90% till nearly the '70's. 97 % in the UK. when the Beatles wrote the song "TAX MAN"

  • @jpschubbs: Yep, taxes were that high.

Btw, did you know that Smedley Butler exposed a pro-Nazi conspiracy against FDR in '34? Google the Business Plot if you'd like to know more.

  • FUCK NAZIS! I'M GLAD THAT HITLER WAS DEAD!

  • @kevkrump was? Sorry to be an ass, but he's STILL dead ya know! :)

  • @howhurl I think it's V for Victory.

  • So the moral of the story is: Pay your taxes so america can make weapons of mass destruction.

  • Who wants to buy some war bonds!

  • @hawaiianrobot I do!

  • /watch?v=Xbp6umQT58A&feature

The story of your enslavement - how govt is spending EVERYONE into slavery.

Our debt is 93% of our GDP - we, as a country are BROKE. SS medicare "underfunded" by $60 TRILLION dollars and CONgress ADD another entitlement onto our backs.

Why can't team BO FIX medicare/aid - that is the program that was suppose to PROTECT us from bankruptcy if we couldn't afford care.

WHY NOT FIX WHAT IS BROKEN FIRST GOVT????

  • UNIVERSE BLESS AMERICA.

  • Respond to this video... guns=freedom... ahhhhh, America

  • its amazing the kind of shit they out out back then

  • I like Income Tax, it make's me smile when libertarians bitch about it. I'll pay more if it make them cry....

  • @snowwolf7777 Please do. Then maybe youll have to sell your computer so you cant comment on youtube

  • @jjason1985 Sad, that you have to look for a comment that I post 4 months ago. Someone is a weird freak.

  • God forbid Donald spend HIS money on the things he wants lol.

  • No wounder americans are so crazy! Funny thoe!

  • I remember watching this when I was a kid. I always thought there was something wrong about it.

  • Taxes Taxes and more Taxes...

You wanna talk about spend thrift look at our Govt...

$ 13 Trillion in debt and we're sinking fast.....

  • Hey guys, remember when Income tax was supposed to be temporary?

  • Would a movie like this have any effect today? Could it have prevented the credit crunch??

  • @otoevst What the hell? Do you even know what caused the "credit crunch"? It certainly wasnt lack of payroll taxes. Too much money in the system led to a housing bubble. There was so much money in loans that they would give em to anyone. Then when things tightened up, people defaulted and banks didnt want to risk anymore.

  • Do i hear a man saying "die die" in the beginning during the whistle is blowing?

  • @wetterwille173 heh, i think he is saying pay day.

  • @Nirvanaxanax

    Haha, probably misheard it.

  • if only this art still existed, fuck you dora the explorer

  • 2:50 pretty much forgotten about Donald Duck at this point

  • if Adolf had so good cartoons meaby he could win ;P....

  • Man, imagine if they made cartoons like this about Iraq. $3 Million a day is a lot to pay, after all, right?

  • I never knew the nazis had a gian robot monster with guns for teeth!

  • no it is not my war. lol, it is the war of the rich. no way 12 billin per month for 10 years and we still cannot find bin ladin? what a joke.

  • @Rico8458

You know, he could be dead.

  • Wow, so this is how those who came before us were doped into accepting the income tax that now enslaves half the country and subsidizes the other half for doing nothing. I had no idea this nonsense went on during that time period. Heaven forbid a person believed he was entitled to the fruits of his labor -- No the government is entitled to take it from you to prosecute THEIR war (not yours). Sick stuff.

All taxation is theft regardless of the excuse government gives for it.

  • @flaunttnualf lol, That's so liberal. They were fighting a war in Asia and Europe at the time. Granted, the income tax should have been abolished after WWII but I don't think it is "disgusting" that they made propaganda films to get people to support fighting fascism.

  • @riethc Fascism is a collusion between big business and big government. The imposition of the income tax, especially with the amount of money being made by big business durring ww2 was a huge step toward fascism.

    Ironic, dont you think?

  • @jjason1985 Walt Disney was a fascist. (I did some research in the past six months! lol)

I agree that the tax system could be less susceptible to fascist policies, but the main problem we are having now is that the international financial system is bankrupt and we are being forced to keep them afloat! The gov't doesn't have to borrow its own currency! Constitutionally, the Treasury can utter credit. We don't need the banksters!

  • @riethc

Only gold and silver are money. This is what the constitution says. You cannot "utter" money into existence.

We dont need corrupt politicians who tell you the constitution is out of date, or a living document. Why have a constitution at all then?

Lending money serves an important role. Its the too-big-to-fail model that creates moral hazzard, and removes risk (a major check on greed in a capitalist system). We need reward AND risk to make capitalism work. Bailouts are the problem.

  • @jjason1985

    Constitution of the United States

Article 1 - The Legislative Branch

Section 8 - Powers of Congress

    To coin Money, regulate the Value thereof, and of foreign Coin, and fix the Standard of Weights and Measures;

Congress handed over the power of coining money to the Federal Reserve back in 1913. The Federal Reserve Act was enacted December 23, 1913, the day before Christmas.

Now Ben Bernanke gets to print money at will and the "capitalists" get to loot the system.

  • @riethc

Im sorry, where does it say congress has the power to pass off its responsibilities? ONLY congress has this power. The Federal Reserve Act was and is unconstitutional.

Im glad you used quotes around "capitalists", because we know that there is no such system in this country.

  • Comment removed

  • @jjason1985 To be a capitalist you actually have to have capital. A number on a computer in a bank account does not equal capital. The United States has been gradually deindustralized over the past fifty years, much of the capital is gone.

  • @jjason1985 The public school system is a capitalist system...

  • @flaunttnualf back the we had no idea it would cause this so chill out

  • stupid hitler and hirohito, make us pay income tax now

  • @legoman762005 but we were paying income taxes long before then. WW2 just caused them to be jacked up. We were paying income taxes in the Civil War, and then the 16th amendment was passed in the 1890's.

  • @mathewfinch same thing, stupid hitler and hirito for jacking up our income taxes, the problem is that once taxes are jacked up, they are never jacked down again :)

  • Also, what is this "freedom from want" @ 5:10 ?? I don't remember seeing that in the Constitution. OH, right! FDR and his New Deal, helping people who can't help themselves. Yes, we all know that the government is the best mechanism for charity, right? Right?

  • *sigh* this was before income tax witholding, which is by far the most devious move by American politicians in the 20th century. It effectively conceals your tax burden from you; the government takes your money for taxes before you ever even see a single penny; how can you miss something you've never even had in your possession?

  • @zt2211 I miss it every time I file my taxes and see how much has been permanently stolen by the government.

  • BRAVO!!!

  • This is propganda through and through. Income tax goes entirely to the federal reserve, which makes money at a debt to the United States people. Our income taxes do nothing more and have never done anything more than support a fraud that has kept this country in an ever worsening debt since the creation of the Fed.

  • Democracy??????

    Constitutional Republic!

  • wow indeed..........I'm so glad Ive woken up to see the parallel between then and now

    Freedom=property rights

  • america can be a wonderful country but we need to end the income tax and the evil federal reserve
