Thes people making comments about your fingernails are obviously raging homosexuals who keep their nails polished for doing their dressmaking and to match their frilly little panties.
Thanks for the video. I never knew something like this existed and I am on a very strict budget/ cannot afford to buy anything except mostly bulk ammo and love to shoot. This will save me a lot of frustration with my groupings. Good vid.
@bctruck Perhaps if these people criticizing your fingernails had ever done any physical work in their lives, maybe they would understand how easy it is to screw up a fingernail. Besides, we are men, and we don't generally give a crap about our fingernails, unlike the little girly people making these stupid ass comments. Unreal - an informative video that saves people money, and all this douche cares about is your fingernails, wow! Well, this IS youtube after all, lol.
@Stumpworthy look at it this way, the difference between wolf match target ($55 a brick) and wolf match extra ($75 a brick). two different kinds right? wrong. match extra is nothing more than a lot of match ammo that grouped under a certain number at the factory.
@madrid556 i suggest you stop looking at it. how sad and empty does ones life have to be,to make one take notice of and make comments about a thumbnail. sad really.
Good information, I had no idea why cheap ammo was so crappy. I may end up doing this. We shoot up cases of CCI ammo. The stuff is pretty good, but it does cost a lot more. I can get the kids to provide the cheap labor and sort them out.
@kennnmoran1 the 5,s and 3,s would group the same. but the 5,s would not group in the same group as the 3,s. the group would be smaller but the point of impact for each number would be slightly different.
@kennnmoran1 you would sort them by rim thiskness, then shoot the same number rim thickness with the same number rim thickness. like if you had 100 5,s and 100 3,s. you would shoot the 5,s with the 5,s and so on.
@Stumpworthy why do you have such a problem with the word "convert"? how bout transmogrify? i think you have to much time on your hands and you need a hobby.
@bctruck I agree with stump, the video shows that you are deciding which ammo is good, the video does nothing to show how to convert the "bad ammo" into "good ammo"
Rename the video something like "use this tool to help identify the best of your bulk ammo"
"convert" and "transmogrify" both suggest that there was some sort of modification taking place. you are simply filtering out the losers.
@JAJohnsIP i think you have far to much time on your hands you pedantic little worry wart. stop over thinking simple things and trying to make more meaning out of whats there. this video has nearly 30,000 views and only two twits are having trouble with a single word. why dont you get a hobby or something and leave me alone about words i choose to use on my channel.
@bctruck transmogrify may be too dull... maybe use "metamorphosize" or perhaps "transformate" would be better. Should you maybe say "redistribulate" or go to the extreme of say... "extrapolatizzle"? That would surely have that particular viewers nipples in a twist! "how to Rambanginize .22 ammo" and just keep everybody guessing :) If you used cantampanake or Kriblimote I'm sure intelligent viewers would still see the purpose of the video and not bitch about it like this useless tool.
@bctruck Just watch out, if the warblimation factor surpasses a douche control level of 25, the staimafratzens may sustain injury or perhaps even death!
He has applied a form of quality control that the cheaper ammunition is lacking. He is able to identify and remove the rounds that would likely be flyers, thus making the overall consistancy of the ammunition more reliable, like more expensive ammo.
You say "Identify and remove" the video poster wrote "convert"
Shall I post a video titled "how to convert a ceiling fan into a vacuum cleaner" Then in the video I could turn on a ceiling fan and tell you to just go buy a vacuum cleaner.
Would a cheap dial caliper or 0-1 micrometer do the same thing? I think the 0-6" caliper might be faster. Very interesting indeed. Nifty little tool though!
Very informative video. Thank you. I think its important to have consistant ammo for young people learning how to shoot. It makes for more accurate patterns which builds self confidence with a scoped rifle.
Thanks for good information which I was unaware of. I like your attention to detail...if the details are taken care of and accounted for, you don't have to worry about the rest of it.
thats a good idea, have to resight for each grade but if you get a few boxes of fodder and your socpe working right it seems like a easy to do and great help. seeing em go all over is is bummer, even when its fodder
Dang! I've had my 22 for 26 years and NEVER even knew there was a difference. LOL Maybe that explains some missed shots.....probably not but worth mentioning. Just not sure I'm willing to spend $30 on that nifty little gauge when I could buy 2 more 500 rd boxes of ammo instead. Still a good video though....thanks!
Fuck there's some dumb shits on this earth. How many times does he have to tell you that all it does is sort.
Expensive target ammo should all be roughly the same. so lets say they measure up as a number 3
But the cheap box has 4 different rim thicknesses ( number 3 - 4 - 6 and 7)
By rights, you should get good accuracy if you shoot all the number 3's together and the shoot another separate group with the number 4's instead of shooting a group with a whole lot of different rim thicknesses.
@mjr350 You see??? He gets it!!! You sir have just restored my faith in humanity. I was beginning to feel really sad that there are so many freaking idiots breathing our air. Thanks!!!
Good video, I shoot quite alot of .22 and this is a device ill have to have. bctruck, ignore the crappy comments on youtube. You can look at any video that has comments enabled, and see how many rude things people say on ANY video. Apparently on the internet people have no courtesy.
@bctruck I would encourage you not to take it down; I found it very informative and helpful. You can't blame yourself for the morons. I'll be picking up a rim thickness gauge come payday. Thanks for your video.
@TheDailyToker916 every day im a little sadder about the IQ of our nation falling to such depths.this video seems to have attracted an inordinate number of baffoons. im thinking of taking it down simply because its not worth the hassle.i dont know why this seems so hard for some folks to understand. maybe im just no explaining it well enough. id rather trhink it was me instead of believing that there are this many idiots in the world.
@bctruck I was simply curious as to why it looked different, of course I didn't mean any offense. So do you do a lot of 22lr shooting for this to work out well for you?
You must bite your fingernails or something, because your right hand thumbnail is distracting in the video.
AnYwHoO... I understand what you're trying to get across, it's easier for a reloader to understand since consistency is what makes ammo and guns accurate. I don't quite have the time to sort 22s since my 45s take up most of my time. My suggestion would be keep the ones that group best with your rifle/pistol and blast the rest for fun.
@Ruzai No I don't bite my finger nails. I got the tip of my thumb lopped off when I was a teenager working in a metal shop. They sewed it back on but the nail never grew back right. In my 51 years of living I've never had anyone tell me they found my thumb distracting. How bizarre.
@stevebigler well out of 5700 views only two people where distracted by my fucked up thumbnail.still thats kinda scary knowing that there are people out there that are so easily distracted.lets just hope you dont vote!! LOL!!!
