Nice rendering, but the sun moves a bit too quickly, and the starfield behind Mars is a bit too crowded as the camera pans past it. Other than that, amazing job!
Brilliant work, and Jerry Goldsmith's score is wonderful. Besides, it's The ENTERPRISE---if that's not enough for an ST fan, then they're just beyond help.
nitpick nitpick nitpick some people just overdisect an amateur cgi project.... i liked it . its alot better than alot of other cgi projects on youtube.
quite a few comments (it is an older vid) so I don't know if any one pointed it out but the ship lurches before the impulse engines ignite. Other than that awesome!! Still 5 stars...lol
Some of these shots look more realistic than the new "remastered" ones. Hopefully the next time you remake it, you'll be working for Paramount...seriously. I like most of what they did with TOS remastering, but their shots with the Enterprise, Galileo, etc have a woefully fake CGI appearance.
It guess Youtube made you get rid of your original with the movie scenes. Either way I like how you imagine how the ship would look like. At the moment there weren't any space scenes. Great work as all ways!
@CJCA915 Actually, filigrant is wrong. While it is true that Mars was terraformed, but it still is a red planet. Look up more about it by googling Mars Memory Alpha.
@filigrant Where did you see that? The only times we see Mars (We see a glimpse of it in the background whenever Utopia Planitia Star Yards are shown), it looks as it does now. From what I recall, WW3 intervened before any major space exploration could take place and after Conchrane invented Warp, there was no need to terraform Mars.
actually in enterprise 22nd century mars was habitable without suits with only a few buildings but they still needed masks. I'm assuming in the 23rd century they don't need masks but they haven't de-redded mars and made more buildings but still not as cosmopolitanish as earth..
Too bad I can watch this from Germany only if I use Hotspot Shield, as Sony Entertainment Germany is currently blocking all vids containing what they claim as their music.
Funny enought that all viewers from Austria do not have these restrictions. I tested/proved it with a friend.

UFOSPACE1999 3 months ago
@UFOSPACE1999 Yea, I need to perfect my sun, I hope to get it down pat in my current version, which is version 5...
Here is Version 4:

As for different angles, I like to stay true to the original... as soon as I start altering angles, etc. it seems too off for me.
