@gam3br3ak3r when you first start the psp a menu comes up asking you to select a language. so just scroll to english and you will be set

Simply hack your psp with CFW (custom firmware) look up the m33 firmware from dark alex and google for some tutorials and after you are done you can do all kinds of things with the imported psp.

haha nice i wanted to ask you before if you did hack it i do recommend using Irshell a really nifty homebrew app to mess around with infrared devices thats if you haven't heard of IRshell yet heh and also did you change the region to U.S because if you want you can make it read U.S Umd's if you want to convert the region at least this is what i did with mine :)

Just got my white PSP 1000 on Craigslist. Previous owner bought it from play-asia, played it and only had it for 6 months. Its in excellent condition and he sold it to me for $100. All i can say is, Beautiful!

because when you hack it it will give y alot of options with the xtra stuff it has before they kinda downgraded it such as 1.5 firmware or 1.5 kernel with custom firmware and of coarse infared which slim doesnt have and a umd drive with switch instead of simply opening it physically i think its personally worth it if its used not new heh i actually saw a u.s one for 180 i think it was on ebay but its black brand new in box

oo another thing if you install custom firmware on that psp you wont have to worry about region free and all that garbage the recovery menu is where that comes in and you can switch ur psp from region uk to australia to us to japan and so on ill make a vid about that when i get it and hack it

i actually bought one like 2-3 days ago used off ebay for 100 bucks buy it now nothing wrong with it MIINT MINNT MINNT condition like it looks like it came out of the box and the dude showed me pics i couldnt beleive how cheap i got it for right now usually they sell for like 200-300 about but hey i got lucky

yeah they are expensive but u can get them used not sure if thats what u want but the reason why theyre mad valauble is because when u hack it u can do alot of stuff with it even more then the new psps that why i want the original instead of my slim and the umd has a switch for the disk tray instead of that cheap crap on the slim and the psp feels like it heavier due to better material use and another thing the infrared port there is a homebrew "irshell" that lets ur teach ur psp ir commands

i play god of war which i highly recommend and i play socom 2 which is prob one of the best online games to play on the psp i also play a highly recommended game because the single player is good and the online is also multiplayer which putting both into 1 makes it awesome anyways that game is syphon filter if you haven't heard of it look it up gametrailers or ign to see some game play or even on youtube heh
